- Implements and enforces all Defense Health Agency cyber security policies and procedures, as defined by its security Assessment and Authorization (A and A) documentation.
- Creates and updates all Cyber Security related documentation, including but not limited to, local area network (LAN) and wireless local area network (WLAN) policies and procedures as needed.
- Initiates protective or corrective measures when a cyber security incident or vulnerability is discovered according to the system’s Incident Response Plan.
- Ensures that Department of Defense (DoD) information system recovery processes are monitored, and that cyber security features and procedures are properly restored.
- Monitors LAN/WLAN performance utilization using wireless and wired network monitoring utilities to ensure optimum performance of Information Technology (IT) resources.
- Directs or performs configuration or reconfiguration changes of LAN/WLANs based on Information Assurance (IA) requirements or changes, current and future network requirements or command changes of mission requirements.
- Analyzes and resolves enterprise LAN/WLAN systems hardware/software failures at locations world-wide.
