It is also an appointed dealer for Mitsubishi generating set and aftermarket services in Singapore.
HLPS members advise on the genset business for Taiwan listed company like Solomon Technology Corporation (TPE 2359) and for Hong Kong listed company VPower Holdings (1608.HK).
It has an established arm to deal with Genuine spare parts of Cummins, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Caterpillar, MTU etc.
In line with our continued growth and expansion, we are looking for experienced and dedicated Mechanical Engineer/Electrical Engineer to join our Singapore team.
Job description:
· To manage maintenance and engineering activities for mechanical/electrical facilities in plants for safe and smooth operations.
· To coordinate and execute major field maintenance works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
· Respond to customer emergency calls and resolve technical issues/troubles within tight schedule.
· Draft technical documents such as service report, inspection plans and test reports for internal review.
· Develop maintenance plans for building (M&E) systems to ensure they continue to function properly after construction.
· Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
· Conduct site inspections to ensure construction progress and quality is maintained.
· Oversee site delivery, installation, testing and commission of components and its systems.
· Ensure all systems meet local and national codes and regulations.
Requirements:
· Possess a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the equipment maintenance servicing of mechanical facilities in the construction and power industry.
· Hands on experience in troubleshooting and repair of static equipment and rotating equipment such as diesel engines, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors and blowers.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Auto CAD software skills will be advantageous.
· Essential prerequisites include good analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors, and a strong spirit of collaboration & teamwork.
