About the Team

The GBPO transformation team works on defining, implementing and maintaining transformation opportunities for FIS’s clients. The aim of the GBPO transformation team is to significantly transform our organization and seamlessly deliver vendor transformation projects within the FIS environment. About the role

As the Director of Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy for transforming our contact center operations and customer experience. You will work closely with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to align the vision, roadmap, and execution of our digital transformation initiatives. You will also oversee the selection, adoption, and integration of various contact center technologies, RPA and intelligent automation solutions, and emerging technologies such as generative AI. You will be a hands-on leader who can drive innovation, collaboration, and excellence across the organization.

What you will be doing

• Define and communicate the technology strategy and vision for digital transformation of our contact center operations and customer experience.

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects, from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and best practices.

What you will need

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in leading and managing complex technology projects, preferably in the contact center or customer service domain.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in defining and implementing technology strategy and vision for digital transformation, preferably in the FinTech or financial services industry.

• A proven track record of delivering successful digital transformation initiatives that resulted in significant operational improvement, customer satisfaction, and business value.

• A deep understanding and hands-on experience with contact center technologies, such as IVR, CTI, CRM, chatbots, voice analytics, and omnichannel platforms.

• A strong knowledge and experience with RPA and intelligent automation solutions, such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Automate.

• A familiarity and curiosity with emerging technologies such as generative AI, such as GPT-3, Llama, experience in implementing these in production would be an added advantage.

In your role as the Director of TPM (Technical Program Manager) and Geo Manager within our global IT PMO team, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of programs and projects related to Infrastructure, Automation, AI, Enterprise applications, Data, and Cloud in the corporate IT domain. Your responsibilities will include clarifying and scrutinizing objectives, crafting roadmaps, evaluating complexity and risks, addressing obstacles, and collaborating with a team of highly skilled technical professionals to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and swiftly.

Collaborating with senior IT leaders, you will be accountable for the worldwide implementation of our IT enterprise strategies and programs, ensuring adherence to our PMO processes through consistent and timely execution. Your role will involve evaluating the health of programs, offering insights for necessary corrections, and facilitating the prompt resolution of issues as they arise. In the capacity of Geo Manager, your role involves serving as a liaison, representing the CIO and their leadership team in interactions with local site leaders. This includes managing service encouraging close teamwork and engagement, and participating in site-level leadership forums.

What you'll be doing:

• Formulate the roadmap and coordinate the implementation of a diverse range of IT Programs and projects.

• Engage with regional business owners to comprehend the business roadmap, priorities, and facilitate the alignment of IT operations with business objectives.

• Regularly connect with team members to lead expectations and provide project updates on scope, budget, and velocity.

• Champion regional Initiative prioritization, aiding in the management and delivery of established standards and processes.

• Propel consensus on standard methodologies in sourcing strategy, MSP utilization, and metric and SLO measurement.

• Handle RESS/Space planning across the geography.

• Collaborate with partners and the procurement team for contracts and negotiation strategies.

• Implement IT policies and practices in the region, considering country-specific regulatory requirements.

What we need to see:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related technical field or equivalent experience.

• 15+ Years of IT experience, 10+ years of experience successfully leading technical programs in a fast paced, multifaceted, enterprise environment with at least 3+ years’ experience as a geo lead.

• Technical capability in Infrastructure, RESS/Build concepts, AI concepts including Generative AI, AIops, SecOps, Enterprise search products.

• Business Intelligence/visualization tools experience.

• Proven track record of delivering solutions when needed, while navigating a fast-paced environment with frequent shift in priorities.

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal/presentations. Ability to bridge from high-level objectives to project details and vice-versa.

• Ability to engage with IT & business leaders to unblock/advance projects as needed.

• Ability to thrive within an agile framework.

• Willingness to work with distributed team members across different time zones.

You will be playing a key part in the delivery of critical programs that are strategically aligned to our overall business strategy and growth objectives.

• Drive delivery and end-to-end management of large-scale, business-impacting initiatives
• Drive and lead technical conversations, including architecture review, code review, and the SDLC process.
• Lead globally distributed technology teams through programs and projects to create, enhance and maintain applications, platforms, technology systems and processes.
• Engage with product and business leaders to understand business needs and translate these needs into executable solutions, while managing expectations, gathering requirements, and managing the RFP process for large-scale programs
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with key internal Clients, CoEs and other stakeholders.
• Continuously drive process improvements, manage, coach, and foster the development of our technical talent.
