IN BRIEF

The Head of Production (Experiential) is responsible for the management of the live experiential events in Singapore.

They are responsible for ensuring outstanding results from all teams members, establishing and maintaining a high performance culture and maintaining the general well being, satisfaction and professional development of all the events team and personnel

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Production & Execution

• Outstanding understanding of technical production and proven experience working with production and creative experts to gain best-in-class production solutions to meet client objectives, including but not limited to:
• Video production including storyboarding, music licensing, pre and post production management
• Vision technology, including projection, LED, LCD, touch screens
• Audio & Lighting
• Show calling, Stage management, Speaker management, Talent management
• Crew and contractor management in pre-production and onsite
• Onsite resource management
• Registration and delegate logistics
• Workplace health & safety including risk assessments, safe work method statements and onsite safety

Mentorship and Leadership

• Management of your DARKHORSE project team(s) to foster best practice, team cohesion and profitability
• Manage team members, including providing guidance, feedback, and career development opportunities and mentorship
• Managing positive and collaborative inter-departmental relationships with other DARKHORSE departments, Project Worldwide agencies and leadership team through planning, communication, direction, reporting and business intelligence
• Guidance on best practice to project team members through regular project meetings by providing thought leadership, creative influencing and direction, and quality control on all of the teams’ outputs
• Analyze; inspire; recruit; and manage the project teams for your clients, so that DARKHORSE constantly exceeds our client’s expectations
• Develop and execute a training plan

Communication

• Mandate and maintain outstanding quality of all project documentation and administration from the team and ensure the timely dissemination to all relevant stakeholders
• Conduct regular WIP meetings with internal and external teams and clients to enable effective project planning
• Effective risk management though the identification, communication and escalation to mitigate negative outcomes
• Ensure agency-wide communications on project and team developments are maintained via weekly agency WIP meetings and other ad-hoc meetings as required
• Must have excellent writing ability and communication skills to effectively articulate your message, through presentations and case studies

Creative Development & Championship

• Support the creative development of project proposals with the wider team and ensure creative output is of the highest standards
• Demonstrate creative leadership through idea generation, cultural awareness, collaborative creative development meetings and creative direction throughout the proposal development process

Financial Accountability

• Oversee budget scoping to ensure all project requirements are accurately scoped with the appropriate level of detail and standard profit margins are established
• Oversee consistent and accurate budget reporting to the client on a regular basis to ensure cost changes are accurately tracked and Gross Profit Margin are maintained and increased throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee and ensure accurate budget reconciliations are completed for all projects within 30 days post event
• Oversee and ensure client invoicing and cash flow management on all projects to ensure projects are always in positive cash flow
• Monthly forecasting and reporting of expected project revenue to Management

Process

• Ensure compliance and championship of internal DARKHORSE processes with internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct training with team members when required to ensure process and procedures are understood and adhered to

New Business / Growth

• Grow strong relationships with Clients, and identify opportunities to grow revenue
• Provide proactive proposals to existing clients to maximise on growth opportunities
• Support with winning pitches, including resourcing and leading pitch teams, budgeting and presenting

WTT HEAD OF VIDEO PRODUCTION

World Table Tennis (WTT) is a commercial entity created by the ITTF to grow the professionalization of table tennis by running ITTF’s commercial and events business. Taking a new, innovative and entrepreneurial approach to how table tennis should manage its competition platform and positioning, WTT has been tasked with re-imagining a new professional event structure, reenergizing the entertainment and fan experience, and re-defining the new era.

WTT is seeking an experienced and creative Head of Video Production who understand market interest and will be responsible for producing contents and videos that would increase publicity and awareness to WTT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage WTT’s video output across our social and digital media platforms.
• Lead, manage and train a team of talented in-house Video Producers.
• Manage a group of production freelancers for outsourced projects.
• Identify content angles and pitch story ideas.
• Discuss and effectively plan project timelines with team members.
• Produce content for other WTT departments, including but not limited to Broadcast, Partnerships, Events and Business Services etc.
• Conceptualise and produce state-of-the-art video content strands to bring WTT’s video content to the next level.
• Set high creative standards and perform quality checks on all video outputs before submission to Directors and partners.
• Work closely with the Head of Content to leverage each other’s know-how and create engaging, exciting social media content.
• Be hands-on with high-quality video workflows, including but not limited to scripting, filming and editing etc.
• Create and manage professional Motion Graphics and Animations to enhance WTT’s Video Output.
• Create and manage WTT’s Sports Presentation assets.
• Travel to events to film, coordinate and lead the creation of cinematic behind-the-scenes material.
• Any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer and Management.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a creative video editing environment;
• Diploma or degree from a recognised educational institution in Film and Multimedia or 8 years of experience in the field
• A strong portfolio of video content work
• Able to handle end-to-end video production
• Proficient in using common cameras including but not limited to Sony FX3, Sony FX6, or similar products
• Experienced with audio and lights equipment
• Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Premiere Pro & After Effects
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Possess excellent script writing and interpersonal skills
• Strong creative eye with a pristine understanding of video pacing and music selection
• Ability to work outside office hours (including weekends), when necessary;
• Possess experience in managing an in-house team

Desirable:

• Passion for sport and business;
• Ability to work in multiple languages, with preference for South East Asian Languages

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Apprentice will support the production workforce in various spaces. The main objective of this role is gain knowledge and understanding of the production industry. This role will be a hands-on learning experience while assisting in different production projects and process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Job Shadow both salaried and production workforce to gain knowledge and insight in the production industry.
• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.  Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 35lbs.
• Assemble and/or install a variety of major or min subassemblies, parts, and systems.
• Operate a variety of basic hand tools including, but not limited to: battery-powered drill, impact tools, and torque wrenches.
• Provide support on Materials tasks and day-to-day activities as needed such as: inventory verification, locating missing parts, supporting material routes, setup/layout of work centers, work center updates and audits.
• Support the Supervisor & Group Leader with various production needs such as line shortages and quality gate checks
• Support Engineers through work station design and tool-board set ups.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and support completion of CI board items.
• Participate in engagement activities, such as: Feed Forward activities, and Safety Teams.
• Perform production duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School/GED enrolled student.
• Must be a Junior in the upcoming school year.
• Interest in production industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Leads the development of application architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers. Takes full responsibility for the balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organization. Support the establishment of policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components, and co-ordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency. Ensures that appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to. Within a business change programme, manages the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the programme.
• Contributes to the creation and review of a systems capability strategy for responsible area to meet the strategic requirements of the business. • Provides leadership and guidelines for responsible area to promote the development and exploitation of IT technologies for next generation practices in the complex capital equipment manufacturing business.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, Digital and Data architect, Infrastructure architect and IT Security architect to identify synergies and dependencies in IT roadmap to avoid unnecessary reworks.
• Drives the development and recruitment of application architecture and solution design competency and capability set that meets the company needs
• Analyses business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches, typically seeking to exploit technology components. Evaluates the financial, cultural, technological, organizational and environmental factors which must be addressed in the change programme. Establishes client requirements for the implementation of significant changes in organizational mission, business functions and process, organizational roles and responsibilities, and scope or nature of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have (education & experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Mininum 15 years relevant corporate IT or equivalent experience, in a multicultural environment with manufacturing companies in the > $3B range, with progressive increases in role and responsibility.
• Strong Leadership, and had managed a team size of >10+
• Strong knowledge in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Ariba (Supply Chain Collaboration, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle) for sourcing & procurement.
• Strong knowledge in SAP MM and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), for supply chain logistics.
• Strong integration knowledge to Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of RFID and EDI would be a bonus.
• Broad and deep knowledge of enterprise solutions implemented in complex capital equipment manufacturing business contexts especially product configuration, engineering, manufacturing solutions and service management

Demonstrated:

• Led SAP blueprinting efforts for at least 5 sizable projects that involves complex capital equipment manufacturing business contexts. Experience with deep involvement in a S/4HANA implementation project end-to-end would be a bonus.
