As a Software Quality Engineer, you'll enhance software delivery and quality by designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive testing coverage from development through production. You'll focus on creating automated test scripts rather than just finding bugs, helping developers improve their own processes. Your role involves working in agile teams, tackling a variety of technical challenges, and performing exploratory testing to identify risks. Responsibilities:

· Build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class applications.

· Work with the development and other engineering teams to automate testing, applying risk-based strategy.

· Conduct static and dynamic application security testing (SAST) and (DAST).

Qualifications:

· Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

o Application security testing

o Strong analytical skills.

As a member of the Control and Instrumentation team, you will be responsible for executing maintenance work on instrumentation and control systems in the power plant effectively, efficiently, and to comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out repair and rectification of equipment failure and malfunction. Test and recommissioning of rectified system or equipment

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Technical Officer to join our busy Pollution Control team here at Bolton Council.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will carry out a wide range of duties in relation to pollution control matters including nuisance and contaminated land. You will see through cases from the provision of advice, guidance, serving of notices to enforcement and deal with a wide range of customers.

The work will be reactive in dealing with complaints and requests and also proactive in assessing the environmental impacts of planning applications. You will also respond to licensing consultations.
