About Us:
Since 1988, we’ve been delivering reliable and skilled glazing services, including patio enclosures, wardrobes, security doors, windows, and premium Crimsafe products. We pride ourselves on quality-tested, durable, and custom designs. We currently have a position available for a Glazier (Installer).
Role Purpose:
Support the production and installation of high-quality glass and aluminium systems by cutting, assembling, glazing, and finishing components to meet industry and company standards.
Core Objectives:
• Interpret and apply drawings and plans, performing measurements and calculations to determine the raw materials required.
• Safely and accurately use tools and machinery to cut, smooth, drill, and score glass or aluminium.
• Professionally install glass fixtures using appropriate methods, such as chemical compounds, putty, or rubber strips.
• Fabricate aluminium for domestic and commercial applications, ensuring precise on-site fitting and installation.
• Produce high-performance products in line with company standards, including Crimsafe and custom designs.
• Maintain clean and organised workspaces, tools, and company vehicles.
• Ensure final products meet quality standards, including durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
• Support the team with additional tasks based on business needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or equivalent desirable (or relevant experience)
• QLD White Card / General Construction Induction (essential).
• At least 2 years’ proven experience as a glazier or in a similar fabrication and installation role.
Experience:
• Previous experience in a fabricator or fitter role in a similar environment.
• Proficient use of workshop, installation, and measurement tools.
• High attention to detail for accurate measurement and installation.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Sound communication skills to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and team members.
Knowledge:
• Familiarity with the fabrication and installation process, including reading and applying workshop manuals, drawings, and plans.
• Understanding residential and commercial construction site requirements.
• Knowledge of safe delivery practices, ensuring personal and material safety.
• Awareness of workplace health and safety standards, including fit-for-work protocols.
