Job Summary

• Executing all program milestones including active sourcing, recruiting, as well as continuous improvement of all HCSC early careers programs.

• Partner with leadership teams and HRBPs as needed to ensure clear, timely communication on expectations and deliverables of all early career initiatives.

• Coordination and partnership with internal stakeholders including but not limited to trainings, recruiting events, internal lunch and learns, employee and recruiting events, etc.

• Partnering with HRBPs and L&D to Identify future skill needs and requirements for early career pipelines.

• Partnering with the employee engagement team to facilitate and cultivate a healthy and robust employee onboarding culture.

• Managing and supporting recruiting forecast needs, and calendar of events for ongoing build out and management of program.

• Managing the budget allocated and partner with leadership on all related topics.

• Working with internal stakeholders on establishing employer brand and marketing strategy for the Early Careers Program.

• Supporting recruitment team with high school, intern, new grad and apprentice recruitment cycles and events (including information sessions and other recruitment activities as needed).

• Leading and driving summer high school, intern, new grad and apprentice learning activities, social events, and networking

• Building strong relationships across HCSC, including with business leaders, as well internal HR stakeholders.

• Ensuring HCSC maintains a competitive offering for early careers talent by staying updated on trends and market practice.

• Collaborate with Blue University (L&D) to share best practices, develop new programs and ensure HCSC’s early careers program is best in class in sourcing, recruiting and hiring top talent to the organization.

Required Job Qualifications:

*  Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, marketing, communications and 5 years experience in leading or building early career, apprenticeship or university relations programs or initiatives or 9 years of related field or equivalent working experience
*   1 year of management or leadership experience

*    Creative problem solver with exceptional communication skills

*    Experience working with and recruiting from colleges, high schools and/or organizations supporting apprenticeship programs
*    Experience in project management

*    Knowledge of and experience with recruiting technology (i.e. Workday, Peoplesoft, Taleo etc.)

The Sr. Human Resource Manager is a strategic business partner assigned to support the Peripheral Intervention US Sales organization. The selected individual will be able to build internal business partnerships and drive projects that support the organizations strategic objectives. This position requires that the individual be able to build and maintain relationships with senior level executives as well as employees at all levels. This individual will report to the Director, HR and is critical in helping to implement and drive specific HR initiatives across the organization.  Key success factors are the ability to drive change, solve problems, offer creative solutions and promptly address all business needs.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• SPHR or PHR certification preferred.

Experience Required:

• Demonstrated budget management and written and oral communication skills.

• 5-10 years’ experience as a successful HR business partner

This position will support the Human Physiology, Performance, Protection, and Operations (H-3PO) Laboratory, which conducts research and provides operational expertise in several technical disciplines to address health and performance risks for astronauts.

Disciplines include Extravehicular Activity (EVA) physiology, exercise physiology and countermeasures, and applied injury biomechanics. This position will work closely with the management team and project technical leads to launch and improve products that further NASA’s human spaceflight efforts.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for driving product vision, strategies, and roadmaps within broader context of organizational needs
• Work closely with stakeholders and customers to identify product opportunities and customer pain points
• Partner with project technical leads to ensure that technical schedule is supportive of product roadmap
• Present work to stakeholders and perform product outreach duties, such as the launch of new product features
• Engage customers in product testing, including A/B testing and solicitation of customer feedback
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources, and guide team through milestones
• Define and track product performance metrics

REQUIRED:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with the leadership team to provide strategic counsel regarding the unit's vision, mission, structure, processes and people.  Recommends, designs, and facilitates implementation of solutions while also ensuring alignment with the company's strategic direction.
• Leads HR services initiation, oversight and delivery for the business unit (employee relations, compensation administration, performance management, change management, talent management, decision support, etc.), coordinating with HR peers and Centers of Excellence (COE’s) to deliver consistent services across the business units/organization.
• Leads a group of human resources professionals who support the needs of the business unit’s leadership/management teams, ensuring they provide strategic insight and delivery of the organization’s HR operations and functions.
• Coordinates and builds process tools, collateral materials, and presentations to support organizational design and development initiatives/roll-out.  Leverages work across regions and business units to increase uniformity, efficiency and scalability of work.
• Partners closely with the Total Rewards COE in designing, implementing and administering competitive salary, benefits, incentives and recognition programs.
• Collaborates with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition COE’s to drive strategic workforce planning initiatives.
