PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner EMEA is responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition duties leading to attracting and hiring best-in-class talent for a variety of Corporate positions with a high focus on positions in Germany and EMEA. In addition to full-cycle recruiting duties the Sr. TA Partner EMEA is responsible for the preparation of documents and related administrative duties as required by our Works Council’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, these duties will include responsibility for both their own requisitions as well as assisting teammates residing outside of Germany.  Supports FMC’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. The incumbent adheres to the FMC Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leverage all of the internal/external tools and resources to develop a strategic, multi- faceted full-cycle recruiting and sourcing plan to insure a consistent flow of qualified candidates is met to fulfill the department’s key business objectives.
• Ensure regular communication to all stakeholders on recruitment metrics, trends, and other impactful measures that impact the sourcing and selection of talent.
• Partner with hiring managers and HRBP’s to assess talent needs and provide expertise and guidance around hiring plan and strategy, driving the full end to end recruiting cycle.
• Determines applicant qualifications by phone screening and interviewing applicants and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring groups.
• Gather interview feedback.
• Balance the customization of individual TA solutions with the alignment of the TA vision and the adherence to consistent FMC practices
• Effectively partner with hiring managers and executive leadership to better understand business needs and assess position goals and requirements in relation to TA activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5+ years of related experience in dedicated staffing or recruitment role, ideally for a large multi-national company.
• Prior experience working with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers/Clients and Candidates residing in Germany is required.
• Prior experience working for a German company with a Works Council required.
• Prior experience operating Workday and Excel is highly advantageous.
• Fluency (spoken and written) in both English and German is required.
• Onsite presence in our Bad Homburg headquarters at least 2-3 days per week is required.
• Ability to build relationships and establish credibility and rapport.
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent marketing and public relations skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize detail-oriented work while observing deadlines.

Tasks

• Serve as the first point of contact for Xenios executives (Hiring Managers), candidates, and other HR colleagues for operational questions in recruiting and applicant management.
• Assess organizational talent needs and provide expert guidance, offering tailored solutions in the field of Talent Acquisition (TA).
• Manage the entire end-to-end applicant management process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
• Create, post, and consistently maintain job postings on various job portals and our careersite to attract qualified candidates.
• Utilize diverse sourcing channels to identify and engage potential candidates, ensuring a broad and high-quality talent pool.
• Independently handle applicant management processes, including pre-selection, matching, conducting interviews, communication, and managing travel expense reimbursement.
• Prepare application documents and create comprehensive qualification profiles tailored to the specific needs of hiring departments.
• Build a good collaboration with HR Operations and local works councils.
• Support or active participation in selected local or Global projects in the field of recruiting/talent acquisition.
• Translate local Talent Acquisition (TA) data into insightful reports and conclusions, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
• Deliver a best in class candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Global Lead TA Manufacturing & Supply Chain to ensure alignment with global TA strategies.
• Ensure that TA policies and services are compliant with German labor and social security regulations, as well as internal guidelines and policies.
• Close collaboration and regular exchange with HR colleagues in the German/EMEA HR Team.
• When requested support in the area of HR Operations & HR Business Partnering.
• Implement Global TA policies/changes into the local TA organization, ensuring seamless alignment with global standards.
• Provide support for processes and projects in the field of recruiting and talent acquisition, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
