The Talent for Care team are offering two 10-month fixed term Band 5 opportunities for individuals with project management experience, who are motivated to drive forward and assist in the shaping of key Talent for Care projects.

The Talent for Care team are part of the Innovation and wider Education team. We are responsible for the coordination and implementation of a broad portfolio of pre-employment development programmes for staff and work experience opportunities which welcome school and college students as well as the general public on site. This includes assisting with the coordination of Community Outreach programmes, access to work schemes and monitoring apprenticeships. We are situated at both Ipswich & Colchester Hospital, but we rotate between on-site and home working.

You will be responsible for the coordination of work experience and work placements across the trust, as well as assisting with the organisation of outreach events. Apprenticeship monitoring and promoting will be a core part of the role as well as liaising with HEIs and training providers managing the apprenticeship enrolment process.

The positions are both full time (Monday–Friday) with flexibility to work occasional evenings & weekends for our outreach programme. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of working in the health sector & apprenticeships.

• You will work collaboratively with the Talent for Care Leads to ensure the service delivery standards (KPIs) are achieved.
• You will provide a professional, confidential and proactive service to managers and staff in relation to the Talent for Care Agenda.
• You will act as an ambassador for the department and for the Trust by coordinating regular meetings and events to promote Talent for Care objectives.
• Working with the Innovation and wider Education teams to ensure the Talent for Care agenda is fully embedded in the Trust.
• Act as an ambassador for the Trust, ensuring the positive development of the Trust brand and championing the Trust’s value.

You will be prepared to travel across East Suffolk North Essex NHS Foundation Trust sites where required and also to attend local school and college events. Applicants who have a car and hold a full UK driving licence would be desirable for this role.

You will be responsible for the Next-Medic and Next-AHP programmes at the Trust, as well as assisting with the organisation of existing outreach projects and work experience programmes.

The position is a fixed term 12-month contract working full time Monday – Friday with flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays to facilitate the Next-Medic and Next-AHP programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of working in the health sector.

Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only.

Are you a dynamic and senior admin manager with HR experience looking to contribute to a busy but supportive Human Resources team?

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to supervise the ESNEFT Employee helpdesk supporting staff across 2 acute hospital sites and several community facilities.

We are building on our existing staff helpline and developing a professional shared services model approach to ensure HR delivers an efficient and effective service to the Trust via the Employee Helpdesk.

The role will provide the day to day supervision of the Employee Helpdesk.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have proven administrative and IT skills. You will be able to provide a high level of customer service, showing empathy and understanding in dealing with queries.

This role will be based at IP-city, Ipswich, however you will be required to work across sites.

You will supervise the helpdesk administration team; ensuring a proactive and responsive professional service is delivered to all staff.

You will assist the operational manager to ensure internal and external reports are completed accurately and meet deadlines, ensuring effective and efficient processes are in place to support the HR function by standard operating procedures, deal with day to day issues and problems with the HR function, identifying and implementing actions and making recommendation for approval where required.
