About the Role
This opportunity involves working on complex projects that will challenge you and keep you developing and growing.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will be responsible for completing repairs and servicing a range of products in a timely and safe manner. Projects include refurbishing hydraulic parts fitted to large commercial trains & other large gearboxes
• Disassembling the product, repair and servicing. Complete appropriate reports detailing the work done or required
• Reassembling the product adhering to the technical specifications and completing the relevant report
• Testing your work and reporting on findings
• Working in a safe manner whilst ensuring compliance with all OHS policy, procedures and guidelines
• At times, you might be required to install repaired / serviced products on client’s site
Hours are - Mon to Thursday 7:00am to 3:30 pm
Friday 7:00 to 1:00 pm with overtime when required
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have -
• Experience in the automotive trade or Certificate III Mechanical Fitter
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Good attitude
• Car & licence
• Fit & healthy & ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
• Must be able to pass a Police check
• Reliable
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
