Use down time to facilitate staff training & education by using the time productively such as ensuring staff actively use time for mandatory training. Use the time during no activity to ensure staff stock and clean theatres and surrounding areas to ensure theatres maintain high standards of cleanliness and are fully prepared at all times toreceive patients for surgery.
