A Vacancy at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a forward-thinking and motivated nurse to join the Neighbourhood Nursing teams across Lambeth and Southwark areas.
We are the first Trust in the UK to trial the Buurtzorg District Nursing Model: an entirely Nurse-led approach to patient care in the community with self-managed nursing teams. You will find yourself working in a completely different way.
You must demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills. Through clinical case management you will care for patients with long-term conditions, those at risk, end of life care needs, and those with supported self-care programmes.
There will be training and opportunities in addition to clinical supervisions and appraisals. The post holder must be able to undertake a prescribing course and advanced assessment courses once in post.
Working on a 7-day shift service (hours between 8.00 – 20.00), this post also includes rotational weekend work (maximum two per month).
We are currently trialling a new way on interviewing called transparent interviews, whereby we will provide the 60% of the non-clinical questions to the candidates 24 hours in advance – for further details on this please contact Emily.Jones4@gstt.nhs.uk – Matron for Recruitment & Retention.
Closing Date: 29th September 2024 at Midnight
