Job Description
• Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored (MOS, ITP, RA, safe work procedures).
• Assist manager preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Communicate with contractors to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Able to coordinate site work within trade contractors.
• Able and assist to prepare SD (coordinated shop Drawing) of M&E trades.
• Able to produce 2 weeks Look Ahead program or schedule.
• Able to conduct or lead site walk and presentation.
• Able to identify deviation of work within M&E work scopes.
• Able to prepare, conduct inspection and track progress.
• Able to conduct morning Tool Box meeting.
• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
Requirements
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence.
· Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
· Diploma/Degree/Construction Management or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.
· Experience in a marine construction company is favourable.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad.
· Able to start work immediately or at short notice.
