We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join an Award winning Independent, community pharmacy chain based in our central Bath branch (BA1).
- Salary: Up to £55,000
- Contract length: Permanent
- 42.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday (08:30 – 18:00 with an hour break) No Weekends Required

As a Pharmacist, you will join our fantastic pharmacy branch, where caring for the health of local communities is at the heart of everything we do. As a proactive, organised and commercially focused Pharmacist, you will build relationships with GPs, health professionals and customers from all walks of life on a national level.
You will support and guide a small team but busy team of 4 to deliver i.e. Flu Jab, Minor Ailments, NMS, Quality Payments to ensure we deliver a high quality dispensing & patient service. Your hands-on approach will enable you to provide an amazing service and a wide range of medicines and products, as you meet the unique healthcare needs of every customer who comes through your door.
Your responsibilities as a Pharmacist:
- Screen prescriptions to ensure that treatments prescribed are safe, effective & evidence based
- Apply clinical/technical knowledge to translate customer requests for TPN formulations into valid prescriptions and ensure that these are agreed with the customer
- Ensure all formulations are stable and suitable within the device intended
- Dispensing of TPN and small volume compounded products, including antibiotics and chemotherapy drugs
- Undertake statutory pharmacy duties and responsibilities
Requierments for the Pharmacist role:
- Must hold an MPharm Degree OR OSPAP Conversion Course
- Must be a Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a proactive & inquisitive mind
- Good ability to self-motivate and be motivate others
- Excellent customer care and great communication
- Proven patient management and counselling skills
- Systematic and structured approach to tasks and processes
- Ability to be an effective communicator with various levels of colleagues
- The ability to learn from other people and draw on their skills
