As a PROGRAM ANALYST (TRAIN & EQUIP) at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Develops, implements, manages, and executes SC policies, processes, and procedures.
- Serve as the policy-execution link for Global Train and Equip (GT&E) programs throughout the programs life cycle.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert liaison within the inter- and intra- agency during the planning and execution process, ensuring that plans are matched to resources and capabilities.
- Responsible for engaging early and often in the planning process and uses tools to develop integrated solutions (FMS and GCD), define resources, identify necessary skills, and develop associated plans of action and milestones for world-wide or regional implementation.
- Develop and prepare reports, point papers, programmatic statements and recommendations, coordinate, and develop legislative proposals and strategies for the annual Congressional authorization and appropriations process for the foreign security forces capacity building program.
- Closely track status of case development, execution, and delivery to providing the regional stakeholder and Program Managers (PM) with situational awareness, prioritized effort, and resolution of problems to eliminate obstacles.
