JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide timely and accurate financial information and analysis to support decision-making across the organization
• Perform financial planning and analysis work, including providing detailed variance analysis for monthly/quarterly reports, board papers, and other external reporting requirements

Scope

• The Accountant/Senior Account Executive, General Ledger (GL) is responsible for providing support to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of companies.

Job Description:

• Take ownership on internal and external audits, handle queries from internal and external auditors, tax agent, tax authorities, government authorities and etc
• Prepare detailed financial statements and audit-related documentations
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports, annual corporate income tax filing, withholding tax etc.
• Liaise with the Company secretary for corporate finance related matters
• Liaise with bankers for letter of credit, banker’s guarantee etc and respond to bank queries

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager

Job Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 5 years relevant working experience in Manufacturing industry, experience in manufacturing costing would be an advantage
• At least 3 years in supervisory role
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs
• Prior experience with Microsoft Business Central is advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership skill and high level of independence as well as the maturity and ability to work with staff at all levels.
• Short notice or immediate notice will be an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for budgeting, financial planning including cash flow management and analysis of the financial performance of a group of companies
• Prepare and ensure timely and accurate monthly consolidated financial statements and accounts schedules
• Support Investment and Asset Managers in timely reporting to Management and Investors
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents and lawyers to support audit, tax and other statutory requirements
• Establish collaborative business partnering relationship and lead the team in improving existing policies and processes and transform it through the active adoption of digital tools for better efficiency and costs savings
• Any other duties assigned

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience in handling full set of accounts
• Relevant experiences from the Real Estate and/or Healthcare industry will be preferred
• Experience in handling real estate and property leasing accounts are preferred
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to multi-task and manage several companies in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, committed and takes initiative on the job

Job Description

• Participate in the implementation of credit risk management framework including underwriting, credit limit management and risk based pricing.
• Monitor the performance of risk indicators to finetune and enhance credit risk management policy by conducting data analysis.
• Responsible for evaluating the credit worthiness of new credit applicants and monitoring the ongoing financial performance of existing credit customers.
• Responsible for risk model evaluation and continuously monitor its performance to ensure the stability and accuracy of risk strategy.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as anti-fraud, collection and modeling team to optimize end to end risk processes.
• Collaborate with Business teams, Product teams, Engineering teams and Ops teams to balance risk management targets with business targets.

Requirement

• Bachelor Degree and above in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the risk management area specializes in credit risk management in a sound financial institution.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python.
• Experience in underwriting policy, credit limit and portfolio management and good awareness of anti-fraud and modeling is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
