Business development
Drive business development for the insurance segment – reach out to insurers to forge partnerships and onboard plans
Identify new opportunities for portfolio expansion
Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gainunderstanding of issues
Service delivery/execution
Independently manage projects and developments
Create & manage digital product journeys to make purchase & servicing as easy aspossible for the customer
Manage internal project teams to ensure within timeline delivery.
Knowledge & skills development
Developing point of views/thought leadership
Support knowledge sharing efforts and continually improve processes so that the teamcan capture and leverage knowledge to create disruptive product
- 3-5 years of experience with exposure to the insurance industry. Should have worked with a health or life insurance company or an insurance distributor. Preference will be given to the candidates having worked on at least 2-3 of the following areas
- Market entry & business growth strategy
- Strategy formulation and implementation
- Business planning
- Process reengineering
- Distribution transformation
- Organization level project/program/product management

- Knowledge – Well versed with the insurance domain – typically health & life insurance. Should understand all the categories of products being offered.
- Skills – Preference will be given to the candidates having skills around the most of the following areas
- Market research (primary and secondary)
- Business development skills
- Relationship building and managing skills
- Project management
- Advanced knowledge of MS suite tools
- Strong analytics and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to challenging assignments & deliver within stipulated timelines
- Able to thrive in relatively unstructured situations
