Working within our Commercial Motor Claims Team you'll be answering calls from our customers and Third Parties reporting their motor claims. The types of claims typically received in the department are; accident claims, personal injury claims as a result of a road traffic accident and even property damage due to collisions. Every claim is different and that’s what gives the job so much variety!

What you’ll be doing:

Answering calls from our customers and Third Parties reporting their motor claims.
Ensuring each customer feels valued and supported with their claim, providing them with personalised and accurate information based on your expertise and training.
Managing your own caseload.
Working collaboratively as a team to achieve objective.
Accurately inputting member information into our systems.

Working Hours and Shift Pattern:
Full time, permanent position, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with no weekend work required! Our team in Haverhill town centre consists of around 200 staff and we’re proud of our close-knit team which provides a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Induction:
You’ll have a structured training programme with one of our specialist Trainers, which will be delivered on-site at our Haverhill office for 8 weeks. Following your training and once more competent in the role you will then move to a hybrid way of working from home and in the office.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Large Loss team for an experienced Property claims handler. As a Senior Claims Technician in Large Loss you’ll be responsible for the handling of a portfolio of complex and high value claims.

What you’ll be doing:

Pro-active management of a portfolio of Property claims with a potential of £500K+ from notification through to settlement.
Your portfolio will be predominantly first party Commercial Property losses such as fire, flood and storm which might also include business interruption and alternative accommodation.
Delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining accurate estimating and controlling indemnity spend.
Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of others in your team and in the wider claims community.
Building excellent working relationships with Loss Adjusters, solicitors and other suppliers.
Regular communication with policyholders and their representatives and underwriting colleagues.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll be adept at operating in a matrix structure, have a tenacious desire to deliver positive business results, understand and enjoy the detail, with the ability to elevate and distil key messages for a senior audience.

What you’ll be doing:

Work collaboratively as a proactive partner across our corporate centre office function within IT, Security, Data and Change to build trusted relationships that can be leveraged to positively influence performance, through the provision of expert opinion.
Act as a bridge between finance and the operational side of the business, helping to ensure that financial goals align with overall business objectives.
Undertake budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic planning for the corporate center function within AXA.
Develop business cases and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure robust data inputs, reliable and sustainable benefits deliver the best outcome for AXAUK andI.
Identity risks and opportunities, work with stakeholders to manage and understand gaps.
Co-ordinate the update of detailed financial forecasts, working collaboratively with teams to develop plans to ensure financial and headcount forecasts are reflective of our planned activities.
Provide innovative and insightful commercial reporting to ensure costs and investments are understood and costs are controlled within budget.
Identify opportunities and risks, working collaboratively across teams, to manage and understand performance gaps.

What we’re looking for:

At AXA UK, we’ve a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Finance Reporting Analyst to be working as part of the Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis team. Your role is integral to the team and will involve providing MI on business and financial performance to AXA commercial lines. Working daily in collaboration with other Finance Analysts, who will support with training. You'll also interact with the Finance Business Partners and business customers for a number of MI reports.

Producing monthly reporting packs for use by senior stakeholders.
Updating weekly and monthly MI dashboards.
Validating data used for MI production, flagging DQ issues and working with IT to resolve.

Working with Finance Business Partners and the wider business to develop ad hoc MI.
Advising business customers on use of self-serve MI tools on QlikView, SharePoint and Excel.
Documenting processes and dependencies.
