• To lead, coordinate and work with cross functional teams such as tools suppliers, equipment engineers, process engineers, facility engineers, environment health and safety officer, contractors for tool placement plan.
• To participate in the evaluation, planning and supervision of projects including testing and commissioning.
• To provide support for new chemical and gas evaluations. Plan and execute specialty gas system release/unhooking up.
• To carry out overall cleanroom capacity modelling and planning, work with manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to ensure requirement is met.
• To review capacity model, understanding the constraints and re-lay the equipment layout in the cleanroom to maximise the cleanroom space usage.
• Management of contractor?s services to ensure fulfilment of contracts terms and agreements.
• Identify opportunities for innovation that are relevant and appropriate to the company business objectives
• To review capital and cashflow requirements, driving activities to improve capital efficiency and reduce cost.

Requirements:

• Degree, Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Building Management) or equivalent.
• Degree with 3 years and Diploma with 5 years related experience in
• Manufacturing of Semiconductor, Wafer Fab.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment, proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision, self-driven and self-motivate to get job done.
• Able to work in a manufacturing, production, cleanroom environment.
• Technical knowledge in Facilities Support System such as ACMV, HVAC, Scrubber, Electrical, Compressed Dry Air, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Process Cooling Water, Ultra-Pure Warter, Chilled Water, Wastewater Treatment etc.
• Possess Project Management skills.
• Strong understanding of building codes, HSE laws, regulations and best practices and the ability to interpret/translate these into compliance activities
• Proficient in utilizing Excel, Power Point, Project, Word & Visio, AutoCAD.

Research Engineer position in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS).

With a strong focus on industrial projects, we are developing our exciting technologies beyond the lab scale. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual with expertise in material chemistry and chemical engineering to join us.

As a Research Engineer, you will contribute to industry project focusing on scaling up our electro-metallurgical battery recycling technology from lab to pilot scale. Your major focus will be developing a process to synthesize precursor materials (pCAM) with extracted metals from spent battery materials.

• Lead pCAM synthesis processes at the R&D and pilot scale by working in collaboration with engineering team.
• Able to establish process design and synthesis rules to obtain precursors with optimal composition, interfacial properties, crystal structure, particle size, morphology, and electrochemical characteristics.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor or Master in Materials science and engineering, Chemical engineering, Material chemistry, or any relevant field.
2. Minimum of 2 yrs experience in MHP, pCAM synthesis (precipitation, crystallization).
3. Prior experience in process development and piloting new technologies is highly preferred.
4. Experience with material characterization techniques like SEM/EDS, ICP, XRD, FTIR.
5. Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and interpretation.
6. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced academic environment
