Data Modelling Techniques and Methodologies:

· Proficiency in creating and implementing effective data models for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

As a BI Engineer, your primary focus will be on:

· Developing and maintaining the MicroStrategy setup as part of the organization's Data Platform.

· Collaborating with projects to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver impactful solutions.

· Supporting the setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of MicroStrategy configurations and resolving issues as they arise.

· Building and optimizing ETL pipelines to ensure seamless data integration.

· Applying advanced data modelling techniques and methodologies to create efficient and scalable solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

· Proven experience in developing and supporting MicroStrategy environments, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

· Strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and BI best practices.

· Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to liaise effectively with projects and stakeholders.

· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

· System Engineering Design

· Generating Test Plan & Procedures

· Sourcing and Procurement of System Hardware

· Planning and Setting up Test Lab

· Conduct Factory Acceptance Test

· Lead Installation, Checkout, Integration and Testing (ICIT) at customer’s sites

· Perform Troubleshooting and Resolving System Faults

· Perform On-Site Acceptance Test

· Lead project activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders which includes suppliers, customers and other teams of staff for the project implementation

Requirements

· Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent

· Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in industry

· Experience and knowledge in Infocomm Technology, RedHat Linux, Virtual Environment, Network Security is preferred

· Computer literate e.g. MS office, Visio

· Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills

· Excellent Time-management

· Good Learning Capability

· Working location is in Jurong East
