Job Description:
• Source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand supplier base and for new project/production needs.
• Obtain quotes from new sources to provide costing information and cost reduction
• Lead in conducting periodic price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competency in cost for materials/services.
• Be part of team to conduct supplier qualification audit as well as parts qualification to ensure suppliers can meet company needs.
• Qualify suppliers once suppliers are selected in order to add suppliers into the Approved Vendor List.
• Conduct supplier performance review on a regular basis to manage supplier qualification and updates on supplier capabilities.
• Maintain standard operating procedures applicable to the Procurement department to ensure work flow process are consistence.
• Develop and negotiate favorable supply agreement with suppliers.

Job Title: Engineer (CMTD) – Concrete Testing

1. To attend to clients’ enquiries and technical issues
2. To prepare and follow up on quotations sent to clients
3. To open job and follow through the job i.e. testing, report writing, report endorsement and draft invoice preparation
4. To prepare worksheets for new tests and assist to review existing worksheets
5. To lead and assist colleagues/ subordinates to ensure smooth operation of Concrete Lab
6. To provide support in the development of new tests
