• Serves as technical lead responsible for all systems engineering activities required for the assigned mission and/or the design, development, production, test, and support of assigned systems.
• Evaluates contractors' technical proposals.
• Represents the organization with all levels of management, including functional counterparts, HQ USAF, DoD, other federal agencies, industry partners, and academia.

• You will serve as a Flight Test Engineer for an Integrated Test Team (ITT). The ITT is comprised of test team members represented by various NAVAIRSYSCOM disciplines and their relevant counterparts within other DOD entities.
• You will be responsible for the overarching planning, execution, and reporting of Integrated Test.
• You will develop technically sound flight test plans and reports, develop testable scenarios, profiles, and procedures in order to produce flight test cards.
• You will work with various project officers in test plan development and flight test planning, and facilitating data requests and collection.

• Serves as management consultant on aircraft production process, equipment, tooling and their subsystem design, operations, modification, and replacement.
• Accomplishes research and investigations to determine appropriate Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) techniques for any aircraft structure, engine and their subcomponents.
• Works with organizational managers, budget personnel, and engineering authorities to develop and gain approval for proposed NDI equipment and tooling programs/projects.

• Develops long and short-range program goals and objectives, priorities, and schedules. Develops the budget consistent with available funding resources to support the mission. Responsible for scheduling obligations and expenditures.
• Determine staffing need based on assigned workload, schedule, track, and recommend adjustments in order to fully use available resources.
• Monitor assigned contracts for compliance with construction CMR requirements. Raise deviations and advance solution in a timely manner. Ensure all reporting requirements are met.
• Personally, or through project engineers, provide technical supervision and administrative field control over construction performed by contractors on assigned contracts.
• Interprets plans and contract requirements and assures continuing Quality Assurance inspection of operations to assure construction complies with contract requirements. Makes periodic Quality Assurance visits to assigned projects.
• Resolve conflicting plan details or requirements, which become evident as construction progresses. Exercise engineering judgement to effect a practical solution to problems encountered.
• Personally or through project engineers monitor contract progress and obtain revised schedules when work is more than 10% behind schedule. Perform contract close out actions in a timely manner.
• As Administrative Contracting Officer ensure that modifications and other contract actions are processed in accordance with regulations and district policy.
• Supervises directly or through others the activities of a staff of project engineers, office engineers, construction representatives, engineering interns, engineering technicians, and clerical personnel assigned to the Resident and Area Offices.
• Assigns workload, explains areas of difficulty, plans/establishes new work methods, and interprets the more complex regulations, guides, and administrative polices. Selects employees, provides for training, and monitors/rates performance.

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, especially in commercial or heavy engineering environments
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and safety circuits

What Will Be Your Day to Day Responsibilities?

Within the role of receptionist, you will take on varying duties which will include but not be limited to:
