• Participate in product definition, specification, and requirements analysis with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with Microchip, ST microcontrollers, and DSPs.
• Experience interacting with software debugging in an embedded environment.
• Familiarity with digital control or firmware for power electronics is a plus (PWMs, ADC, digital filter).
• Experience in embedded system or signal processing algorithms (DSP) control.
• Experience implementing & developing communication stack drivers and networking physical protocols (I2C, SPI, RS-485, Modbus, Ethernet, USB, CAN, etc.).
• Deep understanding of RTOS and bare metal programming on MCUs
• Comfortable using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.
• Comfortable reading hardware schematics and data sheets.
• Familiarity with version control systems (SVN), and release methodologies.
• Familiarity with MISRA, IEC62304, or other coding standards will be an added advantage.

• Experience collaborating with remote teams.
• Knowledge of development procedures of embedded platforms such as FPGA will be advantageous.

• Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities (attached).
• Assisting Project Manager and Construction Manager with daily site activities.
• Monitoring/reporting site progress (direct employees and subcontract works).
• Formulation of procedures for construction activities.
• Interact with client personnel, and represent McConnell Dowell in a professional way.
• Attendance and contribution to prestart, internal, HSE, and client meetings.

About You

• Responsible to configure, setup, design process sequences, troubleshoot, and fine-tune processes on projects using FASA applications or help to develop them.
• Responsible for carry-out machine on-site setup and buy-off process.
