As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Simplesat, you will own the AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, cost-effectiveness, and top-notch security and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and configure AWS services to meet business process and application requirements.
• Manage, support and troubleshoot Docker container configuration.
• Incident and change management, health, and performance monitoring - check server health, performance, and capacity alerts, take preventive and remedial action.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business and customer needs, providing expertise in infrastructure scalability and stability.
• Research and development of infrastructure service improvements to help drive efficiency improvements and provide a vision for the team.

Primary Technologies

• Core AWS services
• Docker containerization with ECS/EC2
• Core Cloudflare services

• Extensive knowledge of Linux based systems.
• Experience in building and maintaining AWS services, including application readiness assessment, server builds, data migration and performance tuning in cloud environments.
• Experience in operating CI/CD using Docker, Terraform, Jenkins and scripting language.
• Experience in building systems using microservices and tools like React JS, Typescript, and Django.
• Experience in queueing messages and message brokers.
• Ability to read, write, and converse in English

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Cloud Infrastructure or related role, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure, including design, implementation, and optimization.
• Ability to work independently, managing projects with minimal supervision and collaborating with a distributed team.
