Primary Purpose of RoleThe role of the rehabilitation assistant is integral to the service and vital in enabling the service to support those that wish to remain at home for end of life care, prevent hospital admission and enable residents to leave hospital earlier to continue rehabilitation and recovery at home. The role is supported by a team of therapists guiding and educating in the delivery of physiotherapy and occupation therapy programmes. Responsibilities include; To deliver safe and skilled person centred support to residents of RBWM in their own homes. This can include personal care, meal preparation, medications and rehabilitation programmes. To provide detailed feedback to the therapy team/service coordinators and duty officers to enable the rehabilitation plans to be reviewed and updated as the service user progresses back to independence, the service provides equipment to allow the team to manage this. This is a Full time role for at least 4 months with possibility of extension based in Bracknell offering £33,973 per year.

The purpose of the role is to oversee the inspection of communal areas within all buildings, including Fire Door Inspections & testing of fire assets to support compliance with the key requirements of Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order making sure high levels of customer safety.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Fire, Building Safety & Compliance teams and wider business, with ongoing monitoring and assessment in respect of Fire and Building Safety. Providing on site remedial changes and advice ensuring that suitable controls, processes, and procedures are in place.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and regulations associated with Fire Safety, Fire Doors and Fire safety equipment and signage.

The minibus is used frequently to take residents on day trips near and a little further from the home.

The trips are very popular and recently, days out to Millets Farm, Notcutts Garden Centre, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens and Dorchester Abbey have been greatly enjoyed.

Permanent Static Site Maintenance Electricians to start from August 2024 on a government site in Abingdon OX14

Based: Abingdon OX14 – Full time based on site
Salary: £41,628.13 + 25 days paid annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays + company benefits package, training, and career progression
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

- Carrying out routine Maintenance to site Electrical and Facilities Equipment within a set schedule. Ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated electrical systems.
- Carrying out Electrical Installations including Testing and Certification
- Carry out 5 Year Fixed Electrical Testing as required
- Complete test and Inspection Certificates in line with Client requirements
- Supporting the wider team in other areas where required related to customer requirements.
- Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
- Electrical fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
- Keeping the CAFM system updated with works carried out.
- Ensuring onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant.
- Work with specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical aspects of the PPM schedules.
- Liaising with the relevant managers daily to confirm all works are going to plan and no delays.
- Provide technical feedback in relation to work and equipment as required.
- Complete ad hoc tasks as requested by line manager.
- Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Essential

- City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 2330 / 2360 OR Equivalent.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition BS7671
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a qualified Electrician.
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working within an Industrial/Commercial environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment
- Must have a good understanding of Installation methods and selection of equipment required in Industrial premises’
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
- You will need to possess excellent communication skills and a flair for great service and leading by example.
- Strong administration skills, be well organised with the ability to process data quickly and accurately and support team members.
- Proficient in the installation of electrical trunking systems, conduit, and cable tray within commercial and industrial environments.
- Flexible approach to work and working hours outside of contracted hours.
- Ability to work independently
