We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and closure of the project portfolio across the Digital Customer Centricity team for Asia Pacific. The PMO Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will be part of APAC's Digital Customer Centricity & Regional Business IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management: Manage and track the regional organization’s portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic initiatives.
• Project Governance: Establish and maintain project governance standards and methodologies to ensure consistency and transparency across all projects. Enable the team manager to have a single-source-of-truth where to find everything about the current status of the ongoing projects (stage, tasks, stakeholders, documentation, etc.)
• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
• Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership to ensure expectations and requirements are aligned.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain project performance metrics and KPIs to track project progress, identify risks, and ensure projects stay on track.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation when necessary.
• Reporting: Provide regular status updates and reports to management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas requiring attention.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Budget Management: Ensure project budgets are well-managed, costs are tracked, and deviations are addressed promptly.

Manage the shared service team for fixed assets, inter-company transactions and  purchases process and assist on linking to accounts receivable and accounts payable in the APAC region. Convert more countries to share service model. Set up system and policies for the shared service centre. Be a team player to work within finance dept. and across depts & countries with key ties alongside local liaison person.

• Ensure Intercompany transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
• Work with the business to ensure new intercompany charges are correctly allocated to various regions based upon agreed rules.
• Provide support to the Commercial Finance team in intercompany budgeting and commentary on results
• Ensure accounts payable process is as per accounting policy
• Ensure the overall integrity of AP function across the group.
• Drive high performance in the AP team through managing and coaching the team and providing quality feedback. Provides clear direction and leadership creating a highly engaged team.
• Focus on process improvement practices to drive system, operational efficiencies and process enhancement in the AP area.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain fixed assets register including monthly data entry, running depreciation reports and monthly and annual reporting of expenditure by category
• Review PPE and Software impairment on a quarterly basis and ensure proper sign-off for any asset impairment
• Lead a high performing team. Drives high performance in the team through managing and coaching the team and providing quality feedback
• Ensures compliance with Isentia policies andstandards, and ensures compliance with all local statutory requirements.

• Education: Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting & Finance
• Technical Skills: Microsoft office : Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google suite, Accounting system - NetSuite, NAVISION
• Experience: 10 years plus finance & accounting experience and minimum 3 years experience in a finance shared services manager position.
• Personal Qualities: Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Ability to lead a small high performing team. Ability to challenge the current process and make improvements.
• Communication & Language: Strong communication skills and organisational ability. Excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to speak in other language will be an added advantage.

SALARY RANGE : RM9,700 - RM12,000

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• To analyze data and internal operations flow to provide accurate commercial-related reports for internal and external use
• Manage and ensure high quality of content / presentations / messaging issued to customers, including but not limited to SLA reports, Monthly Business Reviews, and others
• To look at internal systems and processes for the development of automation to capture data for daily consumption and analysis, for eg. tracking and reporting for SLA, rejection records, re-planed MAWBs
• Analyze load factor to increase utilization rate
• Route planning for new sectors exporting from JHB and PEN and etc
• Develop a dashboard for monitoring and optimization of performance, including but not limited to Rejection rate, Load factor, Parcel profile and others.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Ensure that project outcomes meet quality standards and align with business objectives
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
• Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

·         Lead the MHS business and operations in Asia.

·         Support business development and deliver cranes budget revenue and profit.

Preferred

·         Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications

·         Other training certifications in MIPEG, Frog Inspection, Wire Rope Inspection, Flexible Hose Inspection & Training, Contract Management

·         P&L responsibility with financial skills in understanding Budget, CAPEX, Gross Profit etc

·         Operations experience in the offshore oil and gas industry working on heavy machinery, mechanical handling systems, crane maintenance and services, crane health care and management, crane maintenance and inspection, spares and wire rope management

·         Able to read P&ID / Isometric drawings, test packs, etc. in order to support technical questions from field personnel
