- Represent the agency as a visible and key liaison between leadership and other stakeholders requiring a knowledge of administrative policies and directives while also ensuring for timely flow of information and good communication.
- Supports the Financial Resources Specialist by providing supportive documents, budget analysis, and feedback for auditing initiatives.
- Develops and maintains computer spreadsheets, databases, and other software to monitor NRCS operations.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for travel policy and the electronic travel system; Assists travelers as needed with the preparation of travel authorizations and vouchers.
- Serves as the State timekeeper and backup timekeeper as needed and is responsible for reviewing the time and attendance information that has been entered into the timekeeping system.
- Works in conjunction with the ASTC for Management and Strategy as the State level contact for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and maintains operating processes for responding to requests.
- Participate in work groups and team assignments and contribute positively towards the team dynamics in order to accomplish assigned tasks and functions.
