Avid is looking for a Territory Account Manager in the fast-paced and innovative media technology environment. The candidate will focus on defined territories, selling the full package of Avid solutions. This position will focus on established customers and generating net new customers across the DACH and French speaking regions, working closely with Channel Partners and Distributors.
The right candidate will have a proven track record of successful sales experience in tech industries. Some experience in asset management, post-production, digital supply chain and/or cloud-based solutions will be a plus. This role requires a self-starter, with strong networking, prospecting, relationship building, and contract negotiation skills.
Success of this role will be measured by the individual’s ability to drive pipeline activity and achieve results against a defined quota. Ideal candidates will be highly self-motivated, have a high sense of urgency, and driven by producing superior results.
The role is based in France (remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Quota owning individual contributor
- Territory and account management, working with end Customers, Channel Partner / Distributors
- Working collaboratively with product management, pre-sales, and executive management
- Evangelizing Avid solutions across the market, understanding and communicating complex information and strategies
- Effectively engage in complex negotiations and value-based conversations
- Driving pipeline and Closing business
- Aligning with the Avid Strategic Messaging Framework
- Managing weekly forecasts and pipeline management
- Representing Avid at industry conferences and events
Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent in French, English and German
- Minimum of 5 years of technology sales experience
- Track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quota
- Hunter mentality with proven experience in effectively building a regional territory
- Experience in working with the Channel Partners and Distributors
- Demonstrated success in selling post-production, asset management, and cloud workflows a plus
- Experience with solution selling based methodology, with the ability to convey value and differentiation
- Exhibit exceptional understanding of current industry and business trends within the media and entertainment market
- Skilled at networking and uncovering new opportunities
- Independent thinker, highly driven and self-motivated, not afraid of rejection
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Creative problem solver who can react quickly and multi-task
- Comfortable selling and presenting to senior level executives
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Fluent with Salesforce.com, MS Office, LinkedIn, and social media
- SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS experience a plus
- Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer or Pro Tools knowledge is a plus
