(1) Develops, implements, coordinates and monitors all aspects of the R3/SPP related to identification, assessment, intervention and preventive education. Develops training modules for each target group that includes development of lesson plans, supporting visual aids, etc. Designs special courses in response to identified trends and needs of the command, e.g., a high risk profile in crimes against persons at work would dictate a course on violence in the workplace, or matters of general Soldier resilience. Coordinates information for seminars, conferences and orientation workshop's as appropriate in providing instruction and specialized intervention education (stress management, low risk decision making, etc.) to soldiers, family members and civilians. Workshops are mandated by Army regulations and local policies to provide continued training and intervention for the command and community. Evaluates R3/SPP, composes drafts of improvement plans with achievable goals within budgetary requirements. Targets possible program problems and designs possible solutions. 1. Performs the full spectrum of police officer duties within the assigned jurisdictions: Incumbent may full powers of apprehension and detention, which entails carrying a firearm, mirandizing suspects, preserving evidence, and testifying in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations within assigned jurisdiction. The incumbent is required to meet all requirements of Federal, DoD, AF, MAJCOM, State, and local level rules and regulations to maintain trainings and weapons qualifications, as a police officer on a military installation, which may include maintaining Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification. The Clinical Social Worker provides mental health services to Veterans enrolled at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The incumbent will be assigned to the Suicide Prevention Program, as the Suicide Prevention Case Manager (SPCM). As the SPCM the incumbent will be responsible for case management and clinical intervention of Veterans who are identified as high-risk for suicide or suicide related behaviors.

As the SPCM the incumbent must use a high level of skill in assessing and treating the complicated psychosocial problems of at-risk Veterans as they transition from inpatient to outpatient care. Case management responsibilities also include providing supportive services to families. In addition, the incumbent assists at-risk Veterans in coping with acute illness, chronic illness, combat stress, the residuals of traumatic brain injury (TBI), community adjustment, addictions and other health and mental health problems.

As the SPCM, the incumbent will independently provide clinical psychosocial and case management services at an advanced practice level to eligible Veterans and their family members to meet biological, psychosocial and environmental needs. The incumbent will be required to interact not only with the patient but also with family, significant others, community agencies and other staff of various disciplines.

Individuals assigned as GS-11 social workers are considered to be at the full performance level. A GS-11 social worker has a Master's Degree in Social Work granted by a graduate program fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

The incumbent must use a high level of skill in assessing and treating the complicated psychosocial problems of Veteran referred into the Mental Health Behavioral Sciences Care Line. The incumbent completes (or reviews a completed) psychosocial assessment as part of the consult process when the Veteran is initially referred to the Mental Health Behavioral Sciences Clinic.

1. Must have a high level of skill and expertise to establish and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with Veterans in the Mental Health Behavioral Sciences Service and/or their families. The incumbent is able to work independently with Veterans and their families experiencing a wide range of complicated medical, psychiatric, emotional, behavioral and psychosocial problems. The incumbent must be available to provide consultation to treatment teams and staff members regarding psychosocial needs of Veterans and/or their families, as well as the impact of the identified psychosocial problems on the Veteran's health care planning, treatment, and discharge planning.

2. Must be able to independently complete a thorough psychosocial assessment to determine the psychosocial functioning and needs of Veterans and/or their families. The incumbent must be able to utilize this assessment in facilitating the Veteran's maximum use of treatment for attainment of the highest level of independence possible and practicable. The incumbent must be experienced in making rapid assessments and developing crisis management plans for admission to mental health inpatient programs.

3. Must participate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and actively participate through collaboration with Veterans and families as well as interdisciplinary treatment team members in the development and implementation of a Veteran centered treatment plan and/or discharge plan.

4. Must serve as a liaison between Veterans and/or their families and VA and community resources in order to ensure thorough delivery of services. This involves coordination of Veteran and family involvement in the development of treatment plans. The incumbent must provide consultation and education to Veterans and their families regarding community resources, VA benefits and specialty programs, and advance directives. This requires the incumbent to have knowledge of the process for accessing and/or coordinating community-based services, as well as additional services within the VA and other government agencies.

1. Manages, directs, and implements the local formulation and publication of installation deployment guidance based on regulations, manuals, instructions, and directives issued by higher headquarters. Serves as the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO), and acts for the Commander, regarding actions required to deploy in support of Aerospace Expeditionary Forces (AEF), contingency operations, Operations Other Than War (OOTW), and exercises. Reviews USAF, NGB, and MAJCOM deployment procedures to analyze the impact and, if necessary, provide modifications to procedures for the wing and subordinate units. Inspects a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles such as attack tanks, large cranes, tank retrievers, fire trucks, bridge transporters, armored vehicle launched bridges, bulldozers, road graders, crawler tractors, power shovels, self propelled earth compacting equipment, self propelled artillery, etc. May also inspect heavy artillery, small arms, powered support and other equipment or components of equal or lesser complexity.
2. Inspects complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems, equipment and their components while in operation or in a standby condition. Inspects and performs tests to braking, steering, and differential systems, which are mechanically integrated with the transmission; to large engines that directly power multiple hydraulic and pneumatic systems; to intricate fuel injection systems; to turret stabilization systems; and to other systems combined in a single, complex mechanical assembly. Uses specially designed testing methods and test equipment such as computerized test sets, precision gauges, electronic sensors, injector test stands, engine scopes, etc., to assure that tolerance and safety factors have been met.
3. Inspects equipment to determine repairs needed. Utilizes established Maintenance Expenditure Limits (MEL) to evaluate economic feasibility of repair(s). The duties of the Supervisory Medical Supply Technician in the Sterile Processing Service include, but are not limited to:

• Maintains current knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which document the processes and procedures for cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and preparation of RME.
• Utilizes an acceptable proficiency in the use of RME appropriate to this position.
