• Maintains master inventory of on-hand chemicals and monitors chemical inventories of laboratories.
• Monitors chemical inventory, discards chemicals, and ensures chemicals are appropriately stored, i.e., labeled properly, sealed securely, etc.
• Manages industrial hygiene equipment, including performing annual inventory, advising on repairs, and arranging disposal.
• Reviews and determines need for replacement equipment and ensures adequate space and resources.

• Incumbent plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees; evaluates work performance of subordinates.
• Serves as principal advisor to the Clinical Director on planning and coordination of professional and administrative functions of the Clinical Services Branch
• Assists Clinical Services Branch with maintaining accreditation for JCAHO, CMS and other state and federal agencies
• Assists the Clinical Director with researching and implementing Clinical Standards of Care, Practice Guidelines related to medical care for the Clinical Services Branch.
