The post holder will undertake a wide range of duties in relation to domestic services on both acute and community sites within various Navigo locations operated by TUKES. It will also be the post holders responsibility to ensure that any additional requests from the sites are dealt with efficiently and effectively whenever possible. Some of the sites provide direct patient services, and it is therefore essential you conduct yourself in a friendly, efficient and approachable manner. They will play an essential part in Tukes Domestic Service team, and together the team are the first point of contact for Staff and Managers to ensure standards and expectations of Navigo are always maintained. The Domestic Support Worker will be expected to attend and meet Navigo mandatory training standards and any other training as required. The post holder should be confident in dealing with minor problems on the site should they arise, reporting any issues which may escalate to the Domestic Team Supervisor. We are operational 24/6 and you’ll cover various early and late shifts, 35hrs pw. Flexibility is key as due to the nature of role there are a range of different working arrangements & additional hours. About the Role:
As a PCO at our court, you’ll work as part of a team to provide safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees, focusing on maintaining their physical and mental wellbeing. During court proceedings, you’ll be responsible for every aspect of detainee management until it’s time for them to return to custody or be released. Key duties include:

- Escorting defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other areas within the court, including accompanying them to the toilet to ensure security and safety. This may involve being handcuffed to the detainee.
- Monitoring and supervising detainees while they are in the docks during court sessions, ensuring they remain secure and do not pose a risk to themselves or others.
- Being privy to sensitive and confidential information discussed during court proceedings, including testimonies, legal arguments etc. Maintaining discretion and confidentiality is paramount. Being prepared to listen to harrowing and distressing testimonies and evidence. It is crucial to maintain professionalism and provide support to detainees while managing your own emotional wellbeing.
- Ensuring that detainees have access to food and drink throughout the day, catering to any dietary requirements or restrictions.
- Monitoring the mental and physical health of detainees, providing support and reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the court environment, including responding to any incidents or emergencies that may arise. Conducting thorough searches of property and individuals to prevent contraband from entering secure areas.
- Completing necessary paperwork and data entry accurately, including logging detainee movements, incidents, and any other relevant information.
- Working closely with other court staff, law enforcement, and legal professionals to ensure smooth and secure court operations

Ideally, you’ll have a current valid driver's license, be reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communications skills, using those skills to manage and control all situations. This role requires a high level of responsibility, vigilance, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and care. You will be an integral part of the judicial process, ensuring that justice is administered safely and securely. Key Responsibilities 
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.

Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards.  
Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.

Requirements  
- Proven experience in roles such as Bar Manager, Venue Manager, or a similar leadership position in hospitality. 
- Strong leadership and communication skills. 
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities. 
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations. 
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills. 
- Experience in budgeting, financial management and Cellar Management. 
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting in the delivery of daytime & evening events.
- Performing as an Actor within Haven’s interactive adventure show; ‘Dinosaur Explorers’.
- Performing as a costume animator/actor within Haven’s ‘Seaside Squad’ events.
- Performing as an actor/puppeteer within Haven’s ‘Avenue Q-style’ puppet show.
- Light entertainment duties including tech, meet & greets and guest interaction.

*All roles may also be required to deliver photoshoots & PR exercises.
Additionally, All roles be required to support in the delivery of Owner/charity events.

Requirements 
Whilst we will provide the training and support required to ensure you are great at what you do
- Candidates should have a keen interest in entertainments and a passion to develop their skills within the industry.
- Confidence and the ability to engage with guests of all ages is essential.
- Basic dancing, presenting and animation skills are desirable.
- Our cast members are required to work 6 days per week - Hours will include evenings and weekends.
Working hours are approximately 39 hours per week.

*Successful candidates will be required to provide ‘right to work’ documents to confirm they are 18+ and can legally work in the UK.
Additionally, successful candidates will be required to undergo, and satisfactorily complete, an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.

The role

As a Functional Assessor, your main task will be to assess individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you'll listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a physical examination. You'll then produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.

The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video. But whether you connect online or in person, you'll be sensitive, compassionate and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.

About you

• HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with a minimum 12 months, recent broad-based post registration experience
• Experience in functional assessment and clinical decision making would be an advantage.
• Continuous Professional Development present on CV
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Completion of ECDL or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Sound understanding of clinical governance and importance of delivering to agreed customer service levels and targets
• Great oral and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and respond to a rapidly changing environment.
• IT skills and experience of using a range of software
• Self-aware and focused on professional development
• Honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality
• Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect and sensitivity in assessment delivery.
