Position Overview
The Facilities Manager is responsible for organizing, controlling, and coordinating the strategic and operational management of facilities in a public or private organization. This role ensures the efficient operation of the property, including its machinery, equipment, and common spaces, while addressing the needs of residents, tenants, or staff.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Facility Management:
Develop and implement operational strategies to maintain and improve the functionality, safety, and efficiency of facilities.
Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of facilities and recommend improvements.
Operational Oversight:
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities.
Manage contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with contracts and high-quality service delivery.
Address and resolve issues related to machinery, equipment, and common property.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the primary contact for residents, tenants, or employees regarding facility-related matters.
Facilitate the delivery of parcel services and resolve common property issues efficiently.
Liaise with property owners, tenants, and contractors to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all facilities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks or hazards.
Maintain and update documentation related to safety protocols and compliance.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
Manage on-site staff, including caretakers, cleaners, and building managers.
Provide training and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.
Facility Maintenance and Upgrades:
Oversee the maintenance and functionality of machinery and equipment.
Coordinate renovations, refurbishments, and upgrades to ensure facilities meet organizational requirements.
Monitor and track the condition of assets and recommend replacement or repairs when necessary.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Facilities Management, Property Management, or Business Administration.
At least 1 year of experience in facility management or a related field.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Problem-solving and decision-making expertise.
Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
