The MSK Imaging fellowship is a one-year post-radiology CCT training program. The fellowship provides clinical experience across a full range of disorders affecting the adult musculoskeletal system. The program includes the application and interpretation of the full range of MSK imaging procedures including radiography, fluoroscopy, US, CT, MRI, MR arthrography and image-guided percutaneous biopsy. There will be the opportunity to gain experience in CT intervention including image guided spinal intervention for pain management and MSK cryoablation cases. There are several orthopaedic and rheumatologic meeting including soft tissue sarcoma that fellows can participate in. There are two fellowship positions, start dates in February and August.

The post will include one session a week of dedicated research time and fellows will be expected to produce at least one peer reviewed research project over the course of the year. There is also opportunity for one session of paediatric MSK radiology if desired.

We have two 1.5T MRI scanners, a 3T MRI and four CT scanners ranging from 128 multi-slice systems and a dual source CT. Orthopaedic out-patients and elective surgery are based at the BGH where there is a third 1.5T MRI scanner. There are MSK ultrasound lists running at both sites offering diagnostic and therapeutic image guided biopsy and injection services.

There may be opportunity to contribute to additional paid reporting sessions for those interested.
• Reporting in and out patient MSK examinations performed at LUFT
• Perform MSK diagnostic ultrasound and perform images guided procedures which include injections and biopsy.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Essential:- Two or more GCSEs at Grades 9 to 3 or equivalent, including English and Maths

- A degree in a relevant field or other relevant qualification

- Experience of working with children

Job Advert

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Torus Group is seeking an Assistant Systems Accountant on a 12-month contract to support the development of systems and processes
that enable effective and efficient processing of financial and non-financial data. Reporting to the Systems Accountant, the role
involves leading the implementation of new systems to provide valuable insights for the business.

This position will also support service improvements for Finance services and ensure the provision of accurate financial
information and performance monitoring systems across the Group.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the Systems Accountant on the development of existing and implementation of new financial systems and processes to
ensure consistency and efficient processing of financial information.
* Assist with the development of financial reports for the Group that support decision making.
* Ensure systems controls are embedded and permissions are in line with approved limits.
* Liaise with internal departments in relation to developing an understanding of financial systems and process.
* Ensure documented procedures are in place for all financial processes and assist with training for new existing staff.
* Assist the Systems Accountant in the review and challenge existing systems and processes to improve efficiency through
automation.
* Ensure all policies and procedure are up to date.
* Assist with the assessment and implementation of new finance systems and processes
* Assist with ensuing financial controls, policies and procedures for the Group are adhered to.
* Provide comprehensive sound financial information and advice to internal and external stakeholders where required.
* Support the development of an automation and self-service culture.



Skills & Experience:

* Accountancy qualification, e.g., part qualified, AAT or equivalent
* Evidence of and commitment to continual professional, leadership and personal development
* Track record in supporting operational improvements through system/process development.
* Experience and understanding Finance processes.
* Evidence of assisting in providing high quality customer service
* Evidence of the importance of value for money in everyday operations
* Demonstrates a commitment to E&D in the workplace and in the delivery of services to customers and the community.
* Demonstrates a commitment to H&S to ensure safe operations and environment for staff and customers.
* High levels of IT literacy and an understanding of new ways of working




Interview Process:

* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview.
