A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

The role
As a Production Planning Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This role brings all the different parts of the project lifecycle together and it involves production planning for various projects of varying complexity within the Nuclear industry involving project work going on until at least 2032.

Day-to-day, you'll always work in a safe and appropriate manner and strive to set the highest personal standards of safety.

• Provide clear and visible tracking of work packages into the facility or about to be launched into work in progress.
• Attend as many as practical daily setting to work meetings to enable you to collate information.
• Attend weekly stakeholder review meetings and fully feedback to stakeholder where we are in the programme and understand future load and maintain a quotes and Project Scope Authorisation (PSA) tracker.
• Produce weekly, monthly sales/delivery forecast.

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Worker to join an excellent specialist secondary provision in South Leicestershire. The successful candidate will provide support to students aged 11 to 19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. The role involves working closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support and Mentorship:
  Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, fostering a positive and trusting relationship.
• Behaviour Management:
  Implement and monitor behaviour management plans, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.
• Emotional Support:
  Offer emotional support and guidance to students, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience.
• Academic Assistance:
  Assist students with their academic work, ensuring they stay engaged and motivated in their studies.
• Collaboration:
  Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individualised support plans.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
  Keep detailed records of student progress and behaviour, and report any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
• Workshops and Activities:
  Organise and facilitate workshops and activities that promote social skills, emotional well-being, and positive behaviour.
• Safeguarding:
  Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  A relevant qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Experience:
  Previous experience working with young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills. The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
• Knowledge:
  Understanding of SEMH issues, behaviour management strategies, and safeguarding practices.

Your new role
The purpose of this multi-skilled role is to undertake a wide range of administrative duties as well as face-to-face and telephone interactions with patients and visitors, in a busy administration office and reception area. Responsibilities will include:

• Answering the telephone quickly and professionally
• Booking appointments
• Dealing with patient queries
• Ordering prescriptions
• Dealing with external agencies
• Scanning letters and filing them onto SystmOne
• Registering patients on SystmOne
• Using templates to enter data on SystmOne
• Using tasks to relay information to the team

Working hours would be:

Monday-7.45am-3.45pm
Tuesday 7.45am-4.45pm
Thursday-9.30am-5.00pm
Friday-7.45am-4.00pm



What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need to be a competent user of Excel and Word, have the ability to organise your own workload with direction and be able to take instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Experience of SystmOne and having experience in summarising medical records would be beneficial but not essential.

This is a full-time, term-time-only position with 40 hours per covering hours are 8.00 am – 4.30 pm or 10am to 6pm on a rotational shift Monday – Friday

Duties and responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Security

• To participate in the keyholder rota, opening up the College (including performing a full security check) and securing, locking down and alarming the College buildings at the end of the working day • To respond when required to alarm activations and undertake security and boiler checks during close down periods

• To assist in controlling vehicles on site and in the operation of the College’s carparks

• To supervise students in the public areas of the College’s premises, as required, and assist in protecting the College from unauthorised visitors

• To assist with the security and control of the site when the premises are let externally

• To operate the College’s CCTV system •

To act as a fire marshall during premises evacuations

• To check that fire appliances, doors, notices and signs are in good working order and that means of escape are clear and available

• To identity premises faults, including those relating to fire safety and to report all faults or safety concerns • To assist the emergency services as required

• To be prepared to obtain or maintain a First Aid at Work qualification and participate in the First Aid rota, providing First Aid to staff, students and visitors to the college Facilities Operation and Maintenance

• To assist with deliveries to the College and operate the goods received procedures HR/Personnel/Job Descriptions/Premises Officer March 2023

• To assist with the distribution and movement of goods and furniture and assist withthe operation of the internal post service • To assist in setting up rooms for teaching and other functions

• To carry out general maintenance tasks and light grounds maintenance tasks as required, and ensure that the premises are returned to normal use as soon as possible

• To undertake cleaning duties as required

• To be familiar with the day to day operation of the College’s heating system

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure the adherence to the College’s policies and procedures with regard to the safeguarding of, and promotion of, the welfare of students

• To ensure the application of the College’s Single Equality Scheme including valuing diversity and promoting equality • To implement the College’s Health & Safety policy and procedures within the post holders own area of responsibility

• To support, promote and operate in line with the College mission and values
