We are looking for an experienced manager to help us deliver the study support service in the Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) in the East of England. This is a key leadership position delivering critical services across a defined portfolio of specialities and settings. These encompass pre-approval services such as Planning and Placement Service/national cost and attribution tools, as well as post-approval services including portfolio oversight and on-request services.

The role will report into the Study Support Service Senior Manager. Central to the role is the cultivation of a robust knowledge base within the assigned portfolio area, achieved through the establishment of communities of practice with relevant study and delivery teams. The role will also work in collaboration with Regional Specialty and Setting leads.

The key responsibilities of this role will be the delivery of Study Support Services across a defined portfolio of specialities and settings in accordance with nationally defined standards and processes. This will include:
• Pre-Approval Services: planning and placement of research studies, national cost attribution services.
• Post-Approval Services: portfolio delivery oversight
• Leading and participating in national and regional programmes and projects to support research delivery.

You will act as a liaison between a broad range of stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration, communication and alignment of objectives. Working with research delivery sites, you will support their delivery needs, review and evaluate plans to assure appropriate use of RDN funding.

As a main point of contact for Study Sponsors and Research Delivery Organisations, you will provide a consistent and coordinated experience in Study Support Service delivery and proactively support in identifying opportunities for capacity and capability development.

The post holder will be expected to maintain the highest clinical standards in the practice of Interventional Chronic Pain and will undertake any reasonable clinical responsibility which relates to Interventional Chronic Pain. As the Emergency Preparedness Manager, you will be expected to: Strategically develop, manage and provide an expert and high-quality specialist Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response and business continuity advice function for the Regional Centre. Lead in the development of guidance for UKHSA health Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response strategies for the Regional Centre and to contribute nationally as appropriate, in compliance with UKHSAs status as a Category 1 responder under the Civil Contingencies Act. Where appropriate lead and manage the Emergency Preparedness Administrator(s) in the team. Ensure the Region's resilience by providing strategic direction in the development and coordination of the organisations emergency preparedness and planning arrangements. Ensure the Regional Centre business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly. Actively contribute to and sustain the formulation of regional policies and strategies, contingency guidance and plans, through liaison with the emergency services, the military, Other Government Departments (OGDs), Local Authorities (LA's), other responsible agencies e.g. public utilities, voluntary agencies, industry and commercial organisations. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support our healthcare recruitment efforts by managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles across our regional teams. This role is crucial in ensuring we attract and hire top talent who are aligned with our companys commitment to quality care and patient experience. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising to candidate sourcing to offer management. This role involves working closely with multiple stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across teams. The role will be heavily focused on delivering an exceptional candidate experience, from initial sourcing to onboarding. Key Responsibilities: Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead recruitment for all types of roles, including sourcing, screening, arranging interviews, and facilitating offers. Telescreening Candidates: Conduct initial phone screens to assess suitability and ensure candidates are fully aware of the role, responsibilities, and expectations. Work with Regional Teams: Collaborate with managers in different regions to understand staffing requirements and tailor recruitment efforts to meet regional needs. Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and key stakeholders, keeping them informed on recruitment progress and candidate status. Candidate Engagement: Ensure a positive candidate experience by keeping applicants informed throughout the process, from initial application to final decision, whether successful or not. Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate progress and interactions in the recruitment database. Data Reporting & Analytics: Track recruitment metrics, provide regular reports to leadership on recruitment progress, and recommend data-driven improvements. What We're Looking For: Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within healthcare or similar industries. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Organisational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, organise interviews, and manage candidate pipelines across multiple locations. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with hiring managers and other internal teams. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and virtual meeting platforms. Adaptability: A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Who are we?
