Guest Relations and Patient Transport :

• The incumbent carries out required performance of this position as transportation program support assistant Guest Relations Program to the Office of Veteran Experience. The program is designed to provide Veterans/patients, their families and visitors with staff who can respond quickly to inquiries, identify problems, and improve the experience of those visiting the campus. The services are designed to respond to customer immediate needs including navigation, direction, and information assistance.

• Has technical and administrative responsibility to provide staff supervision and evaluate all health-related programs and management policies pertaining to the agency. Participates in long-term strategic planning and exercises delegated decision making authority for resource management of the agency's research and development programs and policies and is responsible for evaluating the impact of current research standards on programs.
• The Deputy ACOS/R&D monitors the effectiveness of the interactive systems and procedures necessary to advance the research program in accordance with all principles, rules, and regulations affecting research within the VA. • Facilitates day to day communications between the Directorate, GVSC G-staffs, and the Research and Technology Integration (RTI) and Systems Engineering and Integration (SIE) staffs.
• Inform senior leadership on budget execution matters.
