This includes all facilities operations (both Hard and Soft FM), leading on Repairs, Maintenance, remedial works and Statutory Compliance, making sure the colleges are safe and in line with the requirements of Curriculum activities.
To undertake and assist in undertaking all relevant activities to deliver estates services in line with our SLA standards and operation targets and frequencies.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a similar level of expertise and experience in ensuring that:


- All works are carried out in accordance with appropriate guidance, legislation, directives and regulations, including Building Regulations, Building Controls, CIBSE. Electricity at Work Act, IEE regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act, and any other Act or EEC Directive that may be implemented for time to time.

- All Statutory Compliance is aligned with SFG20 standards and BSRIA recommendation.

- Health and Safety expertise

- Work which is undertaken using CDM regulations is carried out as guided by the HSE codes of practice.

Support the development, implementation and audit of protocols, guidelines and policies for the Acute Frailty Service. Review the effectiveness of clinical care provided ensuring that patient safety is maintained, and care delivery meets the standards required by the Trust and the Care Quality Commission. Manage change through strategic thinking, use of negotiating skills, self-awareness and effective communication. Working proactively in managing change in own speciality to improve practice and health outcomes whilst encouraging others to be innovative and adaptable in the approach to change. Undertake clinical supervision and systematic peer caseload review of colleagues on an individual or group basis. with job cards (if applicable), supervisor’s instructions and operating under Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
