The position of Associate Director in Quality Operation will play a key role in supporting sitewide on the microbiology expertise, not limited to, Quality Microbiology Laboratory, Manufacturing and Utilities. The position is a Supervisory Health Systems Specialist (Chief, Quality Management) in a multi-service, complex, tertiary health care system. This MD- Chief, Geriatrics & Extended Care (GEC) position is located in the Office of the Geriatrics and Extended Care at the Providence, RI location. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week.

Included but are not limited to:

• Provides leadership in Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC) Service Line (SL) and for the organization and delivery of these services for the Providence VA Medical Center; and is accountable for ensuring quality and cost-effective care.
