Responsibilities for this Operations Team Leader will include:


Manage contract requirements of jobs
Manage and develop a team of Works Coordinators to meet service delivery demands, expectations and timescales
Manage any escalated calls providing efficient and flexible response to operational issues
Identify work streams and prioritise workload to ensure work is completed within contractual agreements
Support management of all business areas by providing analysis and reporting information
Maintain accurate and effective files/ records, including use of computerised systems
Attend meetings

As a Retail Stocktaking Team Leader you will take accountability for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering the end-to-end stock taking service while on our client's sites. You will be required to:

• Drive productivity & efficiency into all areas of the operation

• To support retail stock counts within the field, when necessary. Travel and overnight stays will be required on occasion.

• Deliver the right number of colleagues within the region to meet the business requirements
• Recruit, train and coach all Count Managers and Supervisors within the region
• Overseas travel may be required at times

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Projects Manager with a strong background in the Independent Connection Provider (ICP) process, electrical design and build, and substation construction. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing the full project lifecycle, including legal and technical aspects, and a proven track record of delivering projects to high standards, on time, and within budget.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) projects, including substations, across Industrial & Commercial and Renewable Energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
• Lead and manage electrical infrastructure projects up to 33kV from inception to completion.
• Oversee design, build, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
• Ensure projects meet all legal and regulatory requirements, including DNO and IDNO standards.
Design and Build Oversight
• Collaborate with design teams to review and approve technical designs, including HV and LV layouts, cable routes, and substation configurations.
• Ensure designs are optimised for cost, efficiency, and compliance with ICP standards.
• Manage the integration of fibre and other ancillary infrastructure into electrical designs.
Stakeholder Management
• Liaise with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, issue resolution, and client queries.
• Coordinate with legal teams to manage wayleaves, easements, and other project-related legal agreements.
Construction and Commissioning
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring all works are performed safely and to specification.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Lead project commissioning, ensuring systems are tested and handed over successfully to the client.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and progress.
• Manage environmental considerations, including planning and mitigation strategies.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
• Proven experience in managing electrical infrastructure projects, including HV and substations.
• Strong knowledge of ICP processes and DNO/IDNO requirements.

• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.

What you'll do

As our newest Sydney based Client Success Manager you will ensure long-term retention of our clients with your relationship management skills and knowledge of the legal industry.
