Job Purpose:
The role will be responsible to driving operational efficiency, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability. The responsibilities will encompass various aspects of store management, including sales performance, cost control, inventory management, and team leadership.
Principal Accountabilities
Sales and Financial Management:
- Monitor daily sales performance and strive to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimize revenue.
- Control costs of goods sold (COGS) by managing inventory levels, pricing strategies, and waste reduction initiatives.
KPI Monitoring:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per labor hour, average transaction value, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Use KPI data to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
Inventory and Stock Control:
- Manage stock levels and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Optimize stock rotation and minimize waste through efficient inventory management practices.
Waste Management:
- Monitor food waste levels and implement strategies to reduce waste, such as portion control measures and inventory rotation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to minimize food spoilage and ensure freshness.
Manpower Management:
- Supervise and allocate tasks to team members to ensure smooth operations and optimal customer service.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels based on business demand and labor budgets.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to maintain a high-performing team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges, resolve customer complaints, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, communicate expectations to staff, and collaborate with management.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, handle pressure in a fast-paced environment, and make quick decisions when necessary.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
