MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Governance To develop and take an active role in quality monitoring of the service, including leading of research projects and audit activity with the aim of improving the service/service area. There is an expectation that the Post Holder will be involved in the provision of internal training sessions and presentations to other services and students. The Post Holder may be asked to provide specific training or mentorship to students. The Acute Mental Health Team is a developing service and team members are expected to become actively involved in the change process and demonstrate commitment to changing role, ie in the development of specialist protocols and specialised programmes of care. Team members will provide continuous development and evaluation of patient information packages to the service. Individuals within the team will provide teaching and education to services users and carers with regard to living with mental ill health, and how to access service providers. This will involve working closely with other care providers, including relatives in a constructive manner using education, advice and support. The Post Holder will be expected to organise and manage their own clinical supervision, and supervise peer, within Navigo agreed guidelines. Clinical Patient Care Duties and Responsibilities To provide high quality care in either the home, Fieldview or hospital setting. Clients referred to the service will usually have complex needs and problems. Families/carers will also need appropriate support and there will be regular liaison/referral to other agencies. This will require capability in the following areas: 1. To maintain accurate records, both written and computerised to a standard that reflects their level of clinical expertise. This may involve the use of specialised psychometric tools to complement the assessment and evaluation of client care. 2. The Post Holder must have experience of using psychosocial interventions in clinical practice. 3. Liaison with community based services and resources such as education, Social Security, employment, housing, Police and voluntary sector organisations to facilitate the delivery of the most appropriate and best possible care for the individual client, carers and their families. 4. Discuss complex issues surrounding risk management and plan care accordingly advising others regarding management of care. 5. Discharge planning. 6. To respond to client crisis in a positive pro-active manner. 7. To develop clear care pathways, including methods to reduce the risk of further crisis developing. 8. To work in a manner which is flexible according to client need. 9. To provide telephone support to any clients, carers, outside agencies or clinicians who require information, advice or crisis intervention. Core Clinical Function FREED Champion To manage all referrals accessing the service via the FREED pathway, including initial triage and subsequent allocation. - Lead a weekly FREED Huddle within the Community Team meeting bringing together all clinicians involved in the FREED pathway Assess patients referred to the service and co-produce appropriate treatment plans. Access appropriate evidence-based treatment such as MANTRA, CBT-E, SSCM etc. To continuously review the implementation of the FREED service model and care package, advising the Service Lead on its progress and identifying any areas for improvement or opportunities for further service development. Deputise for Service Lead in their absence and represent the team as required. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner, working in and around, North East Lincolnshire.

We are looking for someone who has a Positive Behaviour Support qualification – BTEC level 4 or above, MSc in ABA or PBS. Experience of delivering support and implementing PBS strategies to children and young people with complex needs and behaviours of concern is also essential. Those near completion of qualification may also be considered. Experience in Trauma Informed Care would be an advantage for this role.

As the Senior PBS Practitioner, you will be working with a young person. The young person is not currently accessing education. A robust PBS plan with strategies to support them to increase their quality of life is to be implemented with support, guidance and training for key stakeholders working with them. The young person does display behaviours of concern however, with the right support and strategies in place we will be able to provide them a safe environment to flourish.

As well as working as part of our team, you will be working in very close partnership with and alongside the young person’s family, carers and other professionals to ensure that the PBS strategies keep them living in their current placement and accessing the community.,

You'll be responsible for reaching out to existing and new clients and presenting our range of advertising solutions in our magazines and on our digital sites. While most clients are already familiar with our magazines, as we're market leaders and the titles have been established some 40 years, they may not be familiar with the features we're running each month and your task is to contact those who might be interested in advertising alongside pertinent editorial about their industry in an upcoming issue.

You'll be converting and retaining valuable clients, and working side by side with our editorial department to offer highly effective solutions to our customers. You'll be assisting clients by planning and delivering effective and creative advertising campaigns and helping them get the most from their advertising and marketing budgets.

Initially, you'll be making contact by telephone and email from the sales office, but for those who can drive and prefer face-to-face selling, there is also the opportunity to visit clients and, from time to time, we also attend industry events such as trade fairs and exhibitions; a great way to bond with clients and make new contacts.

Our clients often become good friends too, so once you've developed rapport with a new or existing client, you'll find you'll be looking after him/her for years to come. This means you'll need to be the sort of person who can offer our clients a level of service second to none.

You may have experience as

To develop and take an active role in quality monitoring of the service, including leading of research projects and audit activity with the aim of improving the service/service area. Partnership with service users and carers is integral to these activities. The Post Holder will be able to evaluate and review research and other relevant literature and beware of the implications of the social and local policies, procedures and information packages related to service delivery. Will have the ability to work under pressure and manage staff and services Management and Leadership The Post Holder will act as a role model for RETHINK staff, which will involve providing support and guidance to RETHINK staff in order to maximise the experience of clients whilst they are staying at Fieldview. The Post Holder will work within an environment that involves taking responsibility for the use of a significant number of resources, including four crisis beds, access to in-patient services, processing of referrals and allocation of activity to achieve rapid response to crisis referrals. Will plan and organise workloads for staff within the area to include allocation of staff, planning patient care and groups etc. The Post Holder will supervise the day to day care of their service area, ensuring staff are designated to appropriate areas. To also be involved in the recruitment and selection of staff along with appraisals and supervision. Education and Development Acute Mental Health is a learning environment which accepts short-term placements, any qualified practitioners and a wide variety of other agencies, wishing to gain an insight into the Mental Health Services. There is an expectation that the Post Holder will be involved in the provision of internal training sessions and presentations to other services and students. The Post Holder may be asked to provide specific training or mentorship to students. The Acute Mental Health Team members are expected to become actively involved in the change process and demonstrate commitment to changing role, i.e. in the development of specialist protocols and specialised programmes of care. Team members will provide continuous development and evaluation of patient information packages to the service. Individuals within the team will provide teaching and education to services users and carers with regard to living with mental ill health, and how to access service providers. This will involve working closely with other care providers, including relatives in a constructive manner using education, advice and support. The Post Holder will be expected to organise and manage their own clinical supervision, and supervise peers, within Navigo agreed guidelines. Clinical Patient Care Duties and Responsibilities To provide high quality care in either the home, Fieldview or hospital setting. Clients referred to the service will usually have complex needs and problems. Families/carers will also need appropriate support and there will be regular liaison/referral to other agencies. This will require capability in the following areas: 1.To maintain accurate records, both written and computerised to a standard that reflects their level of clinical expertise. This may involve the use of specialised psychometric tools to complement the assessment and evaluation of client care. 2.The Post Holder must have experience of using psychosocial interventions in clinical practice. 3.Liaison with community based services and resources such as education, Social Security, employment, housing, Police and voluntary sector organisations to facilitate the delivery of the most appropriate and best possible care for the individual client, carers and their families. 4.Discuss complex issues surrounding risk management and plan care accordingly advising others regarding management of care. 5.Discharge planning. 6.To respond to client crisis in a positive pro-active manner. 7.To develop clear care pathways, including methods to reduce the risk of further crisis developing. 8.To work in a manner which is flexible according to client need. 9.To provide telephone support to any clients, carers, outside agencies or clinicians who require information, advice or crisis intervention.
