The primary duties of the Nursing Assistant may vary by assignment. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

The incumbent serves as a Transportation Assistant - Transportation Coordinator acts as primary contact to Veterans for transportation needs. The Lead AMSA is responsible for the coordination of AMSA assignments and workflow found in the Care in the Community (CITC) unit. The Lead assists the unit with complex and non-standard procedures, including clinical flow processes related to access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and/or community resources.
