Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our procurement team at our oil palm company based overseas (Papua New Guinea). The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to our operations while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, service, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including production and finance, to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.

The primary duties of the Nursing Assistant may vary by assignment. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Works directly with patients and observes them on a 1:1 basis in an inpatient setting on a unit.

The Lead AMSA is responsible for the coordination of AMSA assignments and workflow found in the Care in the Community (CITC) unit. The Lead assists the unit with complex and non-standard procedures, including clinical flow processes related to access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and/or community resources. Incumbent intervenes to resolve difficult problems and diffuses potential dissatisfaction with VA services. Serves as technical advisor and liaison with contacts at all levels. Incumbent must be thoroughly versed in and be able to explain complex regulations and eligibility criteria concerning veteran entitlements and VA benefits, priorities for care, access to care and advanced clinic access. Incumbent plays a significant role in determining the perceptions veterans have concerning quality of VA services and of their individual treatment by VA health care providers. A high degree of tact, professionalism, and diplomacy must be used when dealing with veterans who may have multiple health problems and may be frustrated with the diagnostic process.

Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to the following:

• Daily responsibilities include collecting, compiling, and tracking data and statistical information in support of Veteran Transportation Service (VTS).
• Perform a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
• Collate in-coming data from a variety of sources. Reviews documents, reports and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.
• Enter pertinent information into an automated tracking system.
• Receive DSS extracts to verify that the workload being captured in DSS is correct.
• Maintain automated system of program- specific data to track items such as service project milestones, progress reports, clinic trends, program trends, performance measures, compliance strategies, etc.
• Interact with various other transportation services such as Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Volunteer Transportation Network (VTN), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) etc., and other transportation providers.
• Coordinate service practices that decrease waits and delays for patients in all specialty areas.
• Plan consult processing flow to ensure veterans receive consultation services in a timely manner.
• Utilize the Veterans Health Information System & Technological Architecture (VISTA), Computerized Patient Record Systems (CPRS) or SharePoint Consult/Request Tracking System in processing internal consultations.
• Provide procedural support in administering quality monitors to be utilized in the internal consultation process to measure the success of efforts to provide seamless care and to support the education of staff in the proper use of the electronic record, to include internal consultation processes.
• Coordinate service practices that decrease waits and delays for patients in all specialty areas.
• Plan consult processing flow ,to ensure veterans receive consultation services in a timely manner.

• Assist HR Specialist and/or supervisory officials by performing technical and administrative work in support of position classification programs and functions by locating, reviewing, retrieving, and summarizing information from classification standards and position descriptions.
• Assist HR Specialist and/or supervisory officials by performing technical and administrative work in support of recruitment and placement programs by developing and issuing vacancy announcements; screening applications to determine completeness and basic eligibility.
• Assist HR Specialist and/or supervisory official by performing technical and administrative work in support of employee and labor relations programs by interviewing employees and/or managers to obtain background information regarding specific incidents; summarizing relevant facts for HR Specialist. Perform work in support of employee benefit programs.
• Verify current background investigations meet IHS's minimum requirements including capturing applicant's fingerprints, biometric information, and photo. Obtains acceptable I-9 documents.
