Overall Duties : Reporting to the Head of Tournament Development, the Technical Events

Officer will provide support of the day to day administrative functions of

the Events Department.

The Technical Events Officer responsibilities include:

• World Ranking, Tournament, and Draw Management systems for badminton, Para badminton, and AirBadminton.
• Player Management including Prize Money Distribution, Player Transfer/Player Retirement Processes.
• Data collection, analysis and presentation related to World Ranking and other Tournament related Topics.

Responsibilities

Under the leadership of the Head of Tournament Development, the Technical Events

Officer is responsible for:

1. Undertaking day-to-day administrative tasks of the Events Department. This includes the following:

The Technical Events Officer will support the Head of Tournament Development in the following areas:

• Effectively maintain and update the tracking and distribution of tournament prize money for Grade 2 Tournaments

• Effectively administer the Player Retirement Process
• Maintain badminton and Para badminton Player IDs

4. Effectively administer the misconduct, penalty and withdrawal penalty processes for all Grade 1, 2, and 3, and Para Badminton Tournaments, including the following:

• Receipt and tracking of misconduct and withdrawal reports and related penalties
• Working with the Finance Department on the invoicing of financial penalties and fees
• Tracking the outstanding invoices and accounting for any overdue payments
• Maintaining, updating, publishing, and distributing the barred player list

5. Contribute towards accurate and timely administration of qualification processes and other required support for the BWF Major Championships, such as the Thomas & Uber Cup Finals, BWF World Championships, BWF World Senior Championships, BWF World Junior Championships and HSBC BWF World Tour Finals.

6. Other areas of support (as needed):

• Analysis Projects, including World Ranking, and other Tournament Statistics
• Support with Major Events Projects, as required.
• Provide full, effective, independent, and accurate back-up support to the Assistant Events Manager responsible for online sanctioning, including badminton and Para badminton tournaments.

Hours of Work

The position is contracted and full time. The nature of the work requires flexibility during busy

periods and will involve work on weekends and at times during holidays. The position will not require significant travel overseas. If occasional travel overseas is required, no time in lieu arrangements exist for additional hours worked. The remuneration package will reflect experience, the extent of the role, level of responsibilities, and the work requirements needed.

Role Profile

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a keen interest in retail sales. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to customer request and enquiries.
• Recommend the ideal product to customer according to their individual preference through knowledge sharing.
• Maintain good relationship with customers to build customer loyalty.
• Basic housekeeping of work area.
• Assist in retail operations, e.g. stock take.
• May be required to be involved in new product launches and related events.

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic, optimistic, confident, and approachable personality.
• Prior work experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ensure excellent customer service is given to the customers (e.g. product knowledge).
• Retail sales target achievement.
• Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay, with excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work on retail shifts, weekends and public holidays in a shopping mall environment.
• 6 days per week with 1 rotational off day.

As a Project Coordination, you will be actively involved in the coordination at the project level as well as be involved in the pre-sales level.

• Act as point of contact and communicate project status by owning the project status update template.
• Follow up with respective team on Project resource planning and resource availability.
• Assist the Senior Technical Manager to keep track of AMS Renewal and Maintenance Renewal.
• Act as initial point of contact with clients for yearly renewals.
• Follow up on Milestone sign off, project sign off by preparing template and follow through for sign off.
• Conduct project post go live survey and follow up with customer to craft a success stories based on solutions that has been implemented.
• Update Business Project Profile and Company Profile as part of project initiation activities.
• Maintain and update a sets of Consultants’ CV every 3 months to ensure CVs are up to date for any tender requirements
• Assist in create standard SOW – maintain standard Project documentation in project team room and ensure completed project has the required signed offs.
• Follow up with new clients on new proposal status
• Supporting HR and hiring manager in crafting job role description and vetting through CVs.
• Assist with timesheet entries compliance.

Requirements:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
• Comes with 1 -2 years of experience in solution presales or related technology sales or delivery know how would be plus.
• Good command of language in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Have a positive attitude in learning and completing work.
