Zaytouna Primary is a larger than average, over-subscribed inner city Islamic Faith school dedicated to providing an excellent education for all our children in partnership with Transform Trust. In this role, you'll support a number of team managers and the senior operations team with every day administrative duties. We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages. Eastwood Grange School is a specialist day school located in the village of Ashover, near Chesterfield, for boys and girls aged 5-18 years. The pupils exhibit a variety of severe and complex educational, social, emotional and mental health difficulties, which have impeded personal developmental and educational success. Many of the pupils have a number of diagnoses. Our pupils have failed in, or have been failed by, a variety of settings before coming to Eastwood Grange School. Esteem North Academy is seeking an additional flexible, committed, enthusiastic and highly skilled STLA to assist permanently excluded pupils, or those at risk of exclusion, with learning and engagement at our High Peak site. This site educates primary aged children from reception to year 6.

The academy provides statutory education to children who are at risk of, or have been, permanently excluded. Pupils who attend the academy have challenging and often complex needs, and exhibit behaviours that prevent them from attending a mainstream school. You will be allocated to a tutor group. The role will involve supporting pupils in lessons to engage in their learning and supporting pupils at break and lunch times. This role will involve working with small groups, or with pupils on a one to one basis to meet their needs as directed by the class teacher or site lead. Classes are small with approximately 2 to 7 pupils. There may be some daily home tuition when this is required to meet pupils needs.

Applicants should have good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or other alternative setting. An affinity for pupils with behaviour, emotional and social difficulties is an essential quality for this challenging but rewarding opportunity. Applicants should be resilient, have high expectations, and a sense of humour. You must be able to build positive relationships with our pupils and think outside of the box. You will be responsible for contributing to a small staffing team to ensure that the site runs smoothly, and this may involve stepping up to deliver lessons in staff absence, to small groups or 1:1. A growth mindset and positive ethos are essential characteristics that we are looking for.

The role will be based at one of our sites and mileage claims for any travel are included in this role. There may be travel to our other academy sites for meetings, Inset and CPD. You are required to have daily access to transport with business use included on your car insurance before you begin the role. You may be required to carry out some home learning or safe and well visits for non- attenders to support the pastoral team.

The Urology Department at Royal Derby Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a fixed-term Locally Employed Registrar CT2 starting on 15th January 2025 until 5th August 2025 with a possible extension to post. The department are looking for an enthusiastic experienced individual to join a forward thinking and proactive Urology team of 12 consultants, supporting in the delivery of a full range of urological services.

This post is designed to provide advanced experience in urological surgery. The successful appointee will be actively involved in supporting both emergency and elective urology activity including theatres, day case and outpatient clinics. The post holder will participate in the urology, trainee level on call rota. Whilst it is not a recognised training post, this post is well supervised and there are opportunities to learn and develop skills.

This post is to cover a specific period. The successful candidate must have completed all pre-employment checks and be available to commence 15th January 2025.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the urology speciality, with the expectation that the post holder will undertake independent outpatient clinics, flexible cystoscopy sessions and act as first assistant in theatre. Undertaking the continued care & treatment of patients pre and post-operatively.

The post holder will have exposure to a wide range of training opportunities in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery as well as the opportunity to attend departmental teaching.
