Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our procurement team at our oil palm company based overseas (Papua New Guinea). The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to our operations while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, service, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including production and finance, to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Handle Full Set of financial accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Responsible for handling of accounts which includes generating financial reports, processing payable, receivables, journal vouchers, petty cash, inventory report, maintenance of fixed assets registers, filling, etc.
• Prepare weekly cash flow report, timely annual or monthly management reports.
• Maintain good record of accounting entries and ensure that accounts are up-to-date at all times.
• Able to do ad hoc job from superior.
• Can liaise with Auditor, Tax agents and Company Secretary, Payroll.

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy/LCCI/CAT/ACCA.
