Major Duties:
The incumbent is responsible for the operation and supervision of the carpenter shop, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of infrastructure systems which serve the entire Medical Center and SCBOC. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating and managing in house construction projects. Oversee maintenance, repair and installations of carpentry millwork, suspended ceiling systems, masonry walls, sheet rock walls, cover base, doors, windows, locks, doors hardware, locking mechanisms, tile flooring, ceramic flooring, carpeting, fire proffering, stairs, concrete work, taping, compounding, and roofing systems. In addition, the Carpenter Supervisor is administratively responsible for all aspects of the Carpentry/Masonry/Locksmith Unit, including employee performance, training, and work assignments, adverse actions, awards and other personnel issues associated at the first level of supervision.

Planning
