The post holder will be responsible for the provision of information through analysis, interpretation and investigation to support commissioning and costing processes. This is a senior post within the Commercial Analytics department and therefore the post holder will be expected to work on their own initiative providing high level information analysis, systems development skills and expertise to define and establish reporting requirements to improve operational delivery and contribute to the development of the Trust’s analytics provision.

The post holder will lead on producing high quality data and will be proactive in improving the use of commissioning and costing information throughout the Trust, including leading in the development of the Trust’s commissioner reporting solutions. The EPRR Administrator will support the EPRR Team to ensure CWPT meets the statutory duties as an acting Category 1 responder as defined in the Civil Contingencies Act (CCA) 2004. The role will be administration based, including administration support to multiple regular weekly meetings, on-call rota management but also with a wide-ranging opportunity to develop experience in the emergency planning sphere supporting the Head of EPRR and EPRR Manager. A background in emergency planning is desirable but not essential.

As the EPRR Administrator for the EPRR Team, the post holder will be responsible for day-to-day administration including day to day inbox management for the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and act as the main point of contact for the team. They will also undertake emergency preparedness, operational support and business continuity duties allocated by line manager and wider team, including response to emergencies and service disruptions.

The post holder will:
• Act as the main point of contact for Resilience and Operational Support and manage day-to-day administration, including inbox management of the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and team inboxes
• Under direction of line manager, co-ordinate and support administrative tasks relating to EPRR and Business Continuity Planning.
• Support the wider Resilience and Operational Support function with administrative tasks as delegated by line manager
• Support line manager to develop and maintain sensitive communication with a range of people (including commissioners, clinicians, managers, and other stakeholders)
• Arrange EPRR Committees, site forums, meetings/virtual meetings and events providing full admin support including Minutes etc
• As directed by line manager to develop and maintain systems and databases for collating EPRR information
• As directed by line manager creating and maintain Strategic & Tactical On-Call Rotas, On Call Packs and Emergency Contacts as required across the organisation to ensure there is sufficient adequate cover with appropriately trained staff.
• Under guidance of line manager support administrative tasks relating to EPRR annual core standards process and actions required throughout the year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated registered nurse to join our friendly, dynamic Research and Development Research Nursing Teams. Together with other team members the post holder will provide a Research Nursing Service for the Oncology/Haematology Department based at UHCW.

The post holder will work predominantly on Oncology and Haematology research studies .

The post holder will work collaboratively with Leading Principal Investigators, Research team and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide an opportunity for patients to participate in research studies. The Research Sister/Charge nurse will lead on complex studies and manage a caseload of their own together with supporting other studies within the bounds of their registration. They will be expected to participate in the recruitment of patients into clinical research, including clinical trials of drugs and new interventions within set time limits. When working on clinical trials he/she will monitor the patients and observe for side effects reporting according to set protocols. An important aspect of the role is the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records of data derived from the research studies. Therefore the post holder will require excellent documentation, organisational and time management skills.

The post holder will work in conjunction with other team members ensuring all research undertaken within the department safeguards the well-being of the participants and is conducted within the research governance framework.

Whilst previous experience in clinical research would be an advantage, applications are welcomed from candidates with solid nursing experience and who can show evidence of continuing professional development and a willingness to learn.
