Main Duties and Responsibilities: Assessment and Diagnosis Conduct comprehensive evaluations through interviews, questionnaires, behavioural assessments, and collateral information from family members, teachers, or colleagues to accurately diagnose ADHD. Differentiate ADHD from other conditions with overlapping symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and other behavioural disorders. Use of standardised diagnostic tools such as DSM-5 to aid in diagnosing ADHD. Keep detailed, accurate, and confidential records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, medication routines, and progress. Signpost patients to other relevant services as clinically appropriate. Provide on-going support to the Independent Medical Prescribers (IMP) responsible for monitoring ADHD medications. Supporting the Independent Medical Prescriber (IMP) in adjusting doses and managing potential side effects is a key responsibility. Identify and address any risk related to ADHD treatment, including managing potential substance misuse or suicidal ideation in patients. Medication Management Support the Independent Medical Prescriber (IMP) to evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed medications and making adjustments when necessary. Help patients understand the importance of taking their medications as prescribed, providing education about the potential benefits and risks. Address any adverse effects that may occur with medications, and potentially adjusting treatment, as necessary. Education Educate patients on the nature of ADHD, how it affects daily life, and ways to manage symptoms effectively. Help patients understand the role of medication, behavioural strategies, and lifestyle changes in managing ADHD. Promote a better understanding of ADHD within community and across system partners, other service providers. Participate in the ADHD Masterclasses hosted by the service. Quality Improvement Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities. Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines set by regulatory bodies. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in diagnosis, treatment, and professional conduct. Stay up to date up to date with the latest research, medications, and treatment guidelines for ADHD. Work with the team to address incidents and disseminate lessons learnt across the service. Professional Indemnity: As a provider that exclusively provides NHS care to NHS patients the company holds appropriate cover with the Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST). The doctor will be required to source the appropriate additional provision of Medical Indemnity. The company will reimburse the doctor for the reasonable subscription cost of this. Consultation Expectations: The average length of an adult ADHD assessment is expected to last approximately 90 minutes in duration. Depending on circumstances, these can be shorter of longer depending on the patients presentation. Our service offers a bespoke clinical IT systemwith pre-formatted forms and correspondence using EMIS. We utilise the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) to facilitate patient prescriptions safely and efficiently. Where identified, the psychiatrist is required to initiate medication. This is then taken over and followed up by our team of Medical Prescribers who undertake the titration process, continued prescribing and the stabilisation of the patient. The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK

Our duties include:

Security incident management - Such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc.

Patrolling site perimeters - Taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.

The Radiotherapy Physics Computing Group of the Digital Department is part of a multi-disciplinary team in a large Cancer Centre. The Section consists of radiographers, scientists and engineers. Close links are maintained with the other sections within the Physics Department (Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Protection), and with the Bioengineering section, which has responsibility for the in-house maintenance of linacs. Also on site is the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre which provides CT, MR and CT-PET imaging for radiotherapy patients. Treatment planning is performed on Pinnacle and Eclipse planning systems. The Department provides and supports its own LAN (“Medical Equipment LAN” or MEL) to provide an integrated Aria Radiotherapy Network to transfer treatment parameters and images between the various pieces of equipment in a secure fashion, as well as to streamline the patient flow.

You will be a part of a team providing IT services and you will assist in development and delivery of training and support to all users of system and applications implemented within the department.

In addition you will receive 15% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436.



Investigate technical/functional issues raised by users and ensure that they are resolved to satisfaction of all parties and do not comprise operation and security of systems or applications.

Plan and manage implementation of hardware and software solutions as required with internal and external parties to minimize disruption to treatment delivery.

Assist in the testing of the MEL following repair or upgrade to ensure safety of patient treatment, including sign off for clinical use

Develop solutions to IT problems using a range of tools and techniques to deliver best-fit solutions.

Design and specify equipment to meet service needs including appropriate sourcing of quotations.

Provide advice and training for physics, radiography and medical staff on the Aria Patient Management System both either directly in response to a support call or indirectly via provision of training.

Act as an operator under the definitions of IR(ME)R, in accordance with Trust Policies and Practices.

The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK.

Our duties include:
Security incident management - Such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc.

Patrolling site perimeters - Taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.
Controlling entry and exit - Managing control room and gate operations and ensuring all visitors are dealt with efficiently.

Military Working Dog services (at selected sites).

Our units are located at over 119 sites across the UK mainland. We have our own Military Local Service Contract which allows soldiers to choose where they wish to serve, providing there is a vacancy.

Requirements:
• Background - You must have at least 3 years prior Military Service, or be currently serving, in any arm of the British Military, regular or reserves.

• Age - You must be over 18 years and under 57 years of age at re-enlistment.

• Fitness Eligibility - You must be medically fit and have a Body Mass Index below 32.

• Driving Licence - You must have a full UK driving licence with less than 8 penalty points.

Previously Served Personnel:
• Gap Since Leaving Service - Former substantive Cpl/LH (or equivalent) and above ranks with no more than a 10 year gap of service, and for former non substantive Cpl/LH and below ranks who have a gap of service of no more than 6 years.

• However, any former personnel with a time gap of up to 10 years can apply for this role, to which a time out waiver may be granted, subject to approval and interview processes.
