Your new role

Your new role :

What you'll need to succeed :

In order to be successful in this role, you will have prior experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor at pre construction stage for a construction company or have solid experience and be ready to take a step into a more senior role. This role would require you to have strong negotiation skills to work with subcontractors and clients to reach positive commercial terms and minimise any commercial risks to the business. You must have good technical knowledge and skills in the construction sector and a good knowledge of commonly used contracts and frameworks. Ideally, you will hold a formal qualification in quantity surveying at degree level. However, candidates will be considered with HND/ HNC qualifications and relevant experience.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• A degree/HND or equivalent in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or other construction related subject or substantial previous experience in a similar position
• A commercially and contractually astute individual that takes ownership of performance
• A proactive person with a disposition to take action pre-emptively to manage risk and opportunity
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Results driven with the capability of working on their own initiative

About the role:

The Senior Early Help Worker is responsible for the day to day line management of Early Help Workers and Youth Offending Workers. This involves regular supervision, allocation of work, ensuring quality assessments and plans, and support practitioners to deliver targeted interventions with young people, children and their families who are considered at risk of poor outcomes.
You will be required to travel and work in a timely and flexible manner to undertake the duties of the role and there may be some element of evening and weekend work where cases require it. This can be a demanding role however one that brings great job satisfaction.

About the Teams:

Future4Me launched Countywide in February 2019 and brought together the Council's core offer to adolescents by building on the Youth Offending Team, Youth Hub and Early Help. Focusing on supporting young people aged 14-18, we have a dedicated team with a focus on youth housing, diversion for youth justice, child exploitation and community interventions as well as our Complex Health Team.

Future4Me operates on a County-wide basis and focuses on multi-agency working, using Trauma Informed Practice and Restorative Principles to deliver a package of support.

The Early Help Team work with children and young people both short and long term within the Team Around the Child (TAC), Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Children In Care (CIC) arena's.

What we are looking for:

Diploma or equivalent level 4 qualification in relevant subject for working with children, young people and families.
Or a professional qualification in Youth Work (JNC recognised) or Social Work.
Or a Diploma/Qualification in Careers Guidance or level 4 in guidance.
An understanding of the importance of good people management, as well as experience supporting, guiding and mentoring others.
Knowledge/ Understanding of child development. adolescent risk-taking behaviour and trauma -informed approaches.

About the role

The Plumbing, Heating and Gas department are now looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced trainer to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Area to provide high quality training and assessment for new and existing engineers wishing to requalify and upskill their current qualifications.

The successful candidate will, deliver training courses to the highest possible standards which meets industry standards and develop and support engineers to build on their existing skills and knowledge. Positively contribute to the delivery teams targets and work collaboratively with relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve the highest possible outcomes.

About the person

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 Plumbing, Heating and Gas (Or equivalent). You will need to be confident, self-motivated and be able to engage positively, with all types of learners with varying degrees of ability. You must be highly organized, able to multi-task and be people orientated. You must be approachable, and professionally presented.

You will also need:

Relevant teaching experience and knowledge, including: possession of a training qualification, PTLLS, AET or equivalent, and relevant teaching experience.
Possession of an assessing qualification, TAQA level 3 or equivalent.
Possession of TAQA 4 or equivalent significant relevant industry knowledge and experience. (Gas and renewable systems)
A full UK driving licence

About the Role

Lincolnshire has an excellent opportunity in Children’s Services for an experienced Inclusion Team Manager to be part of a new and exciting team within the Inclusion Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team of Quality and Effectiveness Leads within the Inclusion Service with a county-wide remit. Overseeing and monitoring the delivery of mainstream provision to effectively meet the additional needs of children and young people, the postholder will have responsibility for working in partnership with mainstream schools to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of early intervention and the graduated approach. The postholder will also be responsible for leading, managing and monitoring the delivery of Lincolnshire’s mainstream Hub provision within host mainstream schools.

The postholder will have responsibility for the overall direction, delivery, management of risk and performance of the services ensuring all statutory and performance requirements are met. The successful candidate will also be required to lead on specific areas of development and improvement within the Inclusion arena working closely with the Head of Service, schools, Social Care, the Integrated Care Board, Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum and children and young people.

The position will be working across the whole of Lincolnshire and therefore the ability to drive is essential.

This is a fixed term position for 2 years.

What we are looking for:

A Children’s Service qualification at graduate/post graduate level such as a teaching qualification/social care qualification/health qualification.
Extensive post-qualification experience in a school, Alternative Provision, MAT or Local Authority within the areas of Inclusion and/or SEND.
Experience of influencing leadership thinking, policy and practice to drive improvements in relation to inclusion.
Experience of leading, co-ordinating and implementing a range of policy developments and initiatives at a senior level.
An extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory duties and Local Authority procedures relating to SEND and inclusion.
Excellent presentations skills.

We are looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at RAF Coningsby Medical Centre, in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

This is a locum role (37.5 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Job Description – Service Requirements
• To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, under the Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) organisation, delivering Primary Health Care (PHC) services and elements of Occupational Health and Health Promotion to the Defence Medical Services (DMS) entitled Population at Risk (PAR).
• To be responsible to the Senior Medical Officer / Lead Clinician / Senior Nurse and provide routine clinics as directed to meet the needs of the organisation and the PAR.
• To be involved in the development and implementation of local programmes of care/ service delivery within their scope of practice; conducting electronic searches and performing audit to promote quality improvement.
• To assist in the supervision of untrained staff within the practice, under the guidance of the Senior Nurse / Lead Clinician and within individual scope of practice.
• To undertake and remain in date for all mandatory training as set out in the most current DPHC Guidance Note entitled Mandatory Training for Locums, Agency Staff and single Service personnel working within DPHC.
• To maintain patient safety and support healthcare governance activity.
• To undertake training and demonstrate competence to issue medications via Patient Group Directives (PGDs) and Patient Specific Directions (PSDs), in accordance with Joint Service Policy and as determined appropriate by the Senior Nurse / Lead Clinician.


Essential Requirements / Qualifications / Experience
• Must be Registered Nurse (Adult) Level 1 with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and hold a valid, in date Personal Identification Number (PIN) and not be subject to any restrictions of practice.
• Must hold current, valid personal medical indemnity insurance.
• Must have a minimum of one year’s post registration experience working as a Band 5 or higher grade in a Primary Healthcare (PHC) setting (within the last three years).
• Must be in date for Basic Life Support (BLS), Anaphylaxis, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and be able to provide certification.
• Must have completed Immunisation and Vaccination Foundation Training in accordance with national immunisation and vaccination standard training requirements (Public Health England) and either:
- be able to provide certification; or
- be able to provide proof of clinical competency of the same from a previous employer or Line Manager, who is a current and practicing GMC or NMC Registrant, for Immunisation and Vaccinations (dated within the last 12 months).
• Must be in date for Immunisation and Vaccination annual update e-learning training (to include young children if engaged within a family practice) and be able to provide certification.
• Must be in date for venepuncture and able to provide certificates of training/qualification/update, as undertaken within the last three years, and/or be able to provide proof of clinical competency of the same from a previous employer or Line Manager, who is a current and practicing GMC or NMC Registrant, for venepuncture.
• Must be in date and able to provide certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training.
